It was just a holdover song that they re-recorded when they release their first record in 2010 because of its status as a fan favourite; nobody in the band today contributed anything to the common version of that song except for lyrics and changing the notation to be more complex. Nonetheless, A7x were hardly innovative when it comes to riffs.
I have so much respect for the guitar work of black veil brides. Sometimes you dont hear it clearly because of the vocals. But with playthroughs with these you can see all the hard work , creativity and the amazing writing that is put into the guitar work and i love it.

Just bought re-stitch these wounds and it’s awesome hearing you replay those solos now that you’ve come even further as a professional guitarist. Perfect weapon and we stitch these wounds are definitely my two favourites on that album! The mixing’s pretty fucking on point too. So much cleaner, punchier and aggressive!

The original main riff section was at 220bpm hahaha, I slowed it down to 205. Then tempo change all the way down to suuuuuuch a slow 195 in the main bridge solo. haha, yeah sooooo slow!

It’s many takes, it’s very difficult to play this perfectly and I’m not trying to fool anyone into thinking I’m not human, it’s a very difficult solo to play at this tempo, but the rest of the song is no problem! 🤘🏻
