It's recorded directly from the Kemper Profiling Amp, so they can get studio similar tone without having to bring their entire setup with them. It's sounds really good, because you're not hearing any background noise, interference, etc., which you might've heard had they mic'ed the cabinets without being in a studio. They play pretty good, but any decent player can actually sound this good if they buy the Kemper and the stuff needed to record with it.
of course you will suck at the beginning lol my brother started playing bass few months ago... believe me, in the beginning he sucked, but now he's actually pretty good. why? how? - practice.
Jinxx looks like the lead guitarist and jake kinda looks like the rhythm guitarist lol but either way even though jake is the lead and jinxx the rhythm it doesn't change anything they are still part of the amazing band bvb play at the finest

Well, the sweep picking was quite similar, but I wouldn't call it necessarily a rip off. First of all, 3 string arpeggios/sweeps are pretty limited in notes, that's why it is pretty hard to use different positions, especially when you want a certain sound. And humans are copy cats by nature. How do you think we learn in general? How does a little baby learn to speak? By copying what the parents say to the child. Many bands are using riffs or certain shapes from other artists, that's nothing special, that's how so called "influences" work. So having a lick which sounds very familiar with another one doesn't mean they ripped it off just to hurt somebody else. Maybe they just like the sound and the way BMFV played it. You can not invent the wheel new.
BVB and BFMV are two stylistically very similar bands that absolutely know of each others music and are competing for the same scene. The fact that this solo section is phrased and sweeped in the exact same way is not a coincidence.
i listen to both bands and as a musician you clearly know nothing about arpeggio patterns. just because someone used the same sweep as a different band doesnt make it a rip off lmao.
If you noticed, Jinxx's style of playing is more aggressive than Jake's (the insane and fast down-picking of Jinxx playing is so hard on the 1st verse with that riff due to the string skipping). Jake is relaxed with a nice control of hand dynamics (even though their pick-ups are active), he uses a lot of alternate picking (usually common because of the pick slanting)
Koedix haven't heard the clean yet, but I'll check it out. I might even get me one since it sounds great. I don't know if they fixed the few bugs it had yet though...

I got it from synyster gates and then i saw that jake did it too but now ive kinda adapted to the hetfield style
i do it now mostly cause i have big hands and i notice i can play easier when i do it and it does kinda add some sort of stabilization

They got axe fx and bias head pretty soon. Bias head is cheapest though so hopefully that will make Kemper lower their prices, but I doubt it.
