"My father consoled Elizabeth with his penis." No matter how many times I hear this, it still makes me smile and laugh every time. Will forever be one of my favorite quotes of all time.
*enters the auction... Whaaa...? Bidding on the entire Kardashian family is already up to a whole bag of Doritos? Probably unopened too, right? WAAAAY too much! I've got this open bag of Funyuns, I'll go see where the bidding stands on Justin Bieber and Piers Morgan... 😂😂😂
Man, she was the best, and in my opinion she was her best on this show. Craig would let her talk about anything and just go off on ridiculous tangents (which he did with all of his guests and made him my favorite host). They had great chemistry.
rebelvickster16 point taken. Not being able to watch Norton as much as I would like, not having BBCAmerica. Had not realized she was that frequent a visitor on his show. I'll have to search for them as well.
Carrie Fisher was composed of absolutely madcap and crazy energy. I don't know of any other talk show host who can thrive in that arena, but that was the arena in which Craig lived. Just a perfect match-up.
What a treat to see Carrie talk candidly about mental health. I'm not qualified to suggest she's right or wrong about any of it, but she seems at ease with Craig and Craig, forever a recovering person from his own past, treats her comedically but with understanding. Love both these people and thanks to the channel for the compilation.
She's just one of a kind. They don't make actresses like her anymore. Honest and never makes a victim about themselves, makes jokes about how fucked up they are instead. Open like a book and just fucking fascinating. Really funny as well. She riffs and plays with Craig on the same pace. The title of this video is perfect, she really could do be a comedian and she would be one of the very best. Miss her yet I've never met her. I love you Carrie. I come here every few months once. I love her more and more the same way Craig said in the first few minutes. She's chaotic and just lovely.
Joking about inner demons and that mess of a life eases the pain. Pretending that everything is ok, although it's not, to please other people destroys you even more.
Wasn't she the best??? I was absolutely devastated that morning when the news came on. The news was on and they had a photo of Carrie...as soon as the news reporter said "we have some sad news".. I started balling. Really, I was crying. I am 56 now and I fell in love with Carrie when I was 10. Man, she had a sharp brain! Wish I was friends with her. I am sure she would have pulled me out of the depths from depression with my Bipolar. She was ONE OF A KIND!
Now that I watched all of Carrie's segments..I know Craig was not upset when he performed in Florida n I snuck back secretly into his dressing room n gave him a kiss before security took me out..THANK YOU..I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH 💕
She was one of a kind. Just a special, special lady, and much, MUCH funnier than she is generally given credit for. An amazing life that ended FAR too soon. She is deeply missed.
Oh man, she was hilarious, and I miss her SO MUCH. I'm thankful we have her on video. And these two together were amazing. Imagine adding Robin Williams to this mix. 🤣😂
I think their bond was born of similar painful experiences and an irreverence for nearly anything. Carrie got more awesome as she got older, if you ask me. It saddens me that Carrie and Craig would no longer meet.
This truly felt like two old friends having a good time together. They just happen to be in the middle of a party where they are the center of attention.
Tonight is the first time I have been able to watch this whole video, always had to stop because of feelings. Damn, I miss that woman... and this show. Damn it.
Carrie Fisher said she was a script doctor for the prequels. I'm absolutely certain she was the one who came up with "DEW IT!!!" for Palpatine. She said that a lot.
I have attended some AA meetings that were amazing. The best thing she ever did was prove that mental illness is not a dirty word or reason for shame. After all, WE are dealing with our illness. The rest of you are too busy denying you have your problem!
“I had to get rid of one of my parrots because he bit my daughter” “That’s why you shouldn’t put your daughter and your parrot in the same cage” That’s some wit I wish I had. He said that immediately…Craig is a legend
The Jayleno Fly A Big Thank you for all that you do with what you can get your hands on. After reading a lot of the comments, I think it is safe to say, we all really saying how much we miss this wonderful, funny human being. Thanks to JLF, she is still here with us, in a way, and damn sure isn't going to be forgotten, lol.
Every Carrie Fisher (and Star Wars) fan should look up Mark Hamill's Tribute to Carrie Fisher video on RUclips. I don't know where he did it, but it looks like the same kind of stage setting that's done at Comicon. In fact, it probably was at one of them. Very touching and fun at the same time.
Craig was our Graham Norton. He was a better host than any of the American Hosts, with the possible exception of Johnny Carson. We NEED an Irishman or a Scotsman hosting a show here in the states again.
At least one good thing about RUclips - now with RUclips great awesome people like Carrie even after death are staying more alive than ever in any century.
Yes! I always loved Debbie (thought Eddie was dumb for divorcing her to marry Liz, since Debbie had *tons* more personality, talent---and was *cute* besides) and watching Carrie in the Star Wars movies you could pretty much tell she was Deb's daughter. They were taken too soon.
So much awesomeness in one person. She was truly amazing and so natural. Didn't actually recognise her at the start of the video cuz in my mind she always looked like princess Leia. R.I.P. may the force be with you Carrie
She's mental. Just love her. I wish Carrie and Billy Connolly had a show. They are very similar. Absurd off the tangent crazy talks. Rock In Peace Carrie. Edit: IDK why, but everytime I watch this, at the end I blow a kiss subconsciously and touched my phone screen. Carrie is such a beautiful person even my dark heart gets engulfed with warmth.
It's actually a natural progression that all people go through. The way a person looks, talks/sounds, acts or even the things a person thinks in their 20s, will not be the same in their 30s, 40s, 50s and so on.
I recommend Wishful Drinking. It's a lot of Hollywood gossip witch actually isn't my cup of tea but she tells it great and her descriptions of her struggles and successes are fantastic. And though shes a person with a rather unusual life I think she finds something very human in her way of telling stories and I (not a hollywood actress and former drug addict) could relate.
she was EPIC!!! i never knew she was so damn funny...real ol school funny like mel brooks or airplane the movie...the funny they cant do anymore...it was an awesome time when we could laff at ourselves and no one ever got butt hurt...i just glad i was there to see it all...she wll always be princess to me... RIP
I'd like to apologize for not remembering to "like" everyone of your videos. It's crazy how much entertainment I've gotten from them and will continue to. I even make sure that any TLLS video I watch is one of yours because you do it the best. Thank you so much! From me, and I'm sure, everyone else.
Craig''s show, always brilliant, has the best unscripted comedy repartee ever seen courtesy of Robin Williams and Carrie Fisher. This show just dwarfs the current late night torture; don't producers and execs ever see this & want a piece of it?!
I love carrie fisher she will always be in our hearts, this video clip was awsome, I have been watching Billie in American Horror Story she is fantastic i know Carrie would agree 👍 ❤ u2 Billie lorde
She was unapologetically herself at all times. All of her experiences and memories that weren't filmed or wrote down are all lost now and that's what gets me the most when someone passes. Damn shame.
When she left this world we all lost so much! We just gotta wait now. Carrie you got a lot to say and we got a lot to hear! TY see you on the other side.
Carrie fisher was a big acid head and I love her strictly for that reason... Her house was the "acid house" back in the 70s... Haven't done acid or anything heavy in so long but man I wish I could have lived in the 60s and 70s but growing up in the 90s and early 2000s was pretty fuckin amazing... But all the good music was in the 60s and 70s.
"My father consoled Elizabeth with his penis."
No matter how many times I hear this, it still makes me smile and laugh every time. Will forever be one of my favorite quotes of all time.
😂
And gotta love the answer, "Ilove you, I've always loved you, Ilove you more everytime I see you!"
In her WISHFUL DRINKING show she said that after Mike Todd died Eddie flew to Elizabeth's side, gradually making his way around to her front.
Honey, she IS a great comedian!!!
I mean, you can say it with flowers, or....
I’d happily trade the entire Kardashian family to bring Carrie Fisher back ❤️
I'd trade the entire Kardashian family for a bag of Doritos.
Not the best comparison.
Carrie is worth a lot more than the Kardashians.
Charlie Dungate so would I

Well said man!
Craig's show, was the only one she'd go on, I believe, until she had to start doing press for "The Force Awakens".
I think Graham Norton would disagree.
rebelvickster16 point taken. Not being able to watch Norton as much as I would like, not having BBCAmerica. Had not realized she was that frequent a visitor on his show. I'll have to search for them as well.
yes, They had wonderful chemistry but who could have a bad interview with Carrie.
Carrie Fisher was composed of absolutely madcap and crazy energy. I don't know of any other talk show host who can thrive in that arena, but that was the arena in which Craig lived. Just a perfect match-up.
