She was a very smart and talented lady, but most people remember how she looked in a bikini more so than who she was as a person. It's so sad. People getting trivialized to BS that doesn't matter.
.... Well being over 40, sadly is a thing of how women are treated. Having said that, happier than I have ever been at 51......❤ Loved Carrie Fisher in her maturer years.
I was completely devastated when she died. I’ve never gotten that upset over a celebrity dying. She was just one in a BILLION. Funny, smart, quick witted.
"It's bittersweet facing my final chapter without her-She is simply irreplaceable. I'm finding solace in the fact that she won't BE replaced & would love the worldwide outpouring of affection from those who loved her when they heard the news." - Mark Hamill, on Carrie Fisher's Death
I don't know what hits me more - the heartfelt sentiment in Mark's statement or the inevitability that we are still having to face losing Luke and Han.
I love Carrie's candor. I also feel for these actors. Such idiotic questions asked thousands of times and after 40 years Carrie is still reaching out with great humor. Her honesty is refreshing.
Be nice, I don't think English is their original language. They meant to say (i think) "Adam acts like he would if he was really Han and Leia's son..."
She’s been my absolute idol since I was seven years old. I’m 49. And these clips can still make me absolutely cry with laughter. Funniest. Badass. Ever. #loveCarrie
She truly was. Funny how they were similar to their characters. Harrison brooding and cynical sarcastic. Mark humble and full of enthusiasm. Carrie sassy and outspoken never afraid to speak her mind.
I too thought about Carrie a few times a day as a boy lol. She was a rare breed of woman. Wickedly funny, brutally honest and never afraid of making fun of herself. Americans don’t have royals but Ms. Fischer will always be my princess. Long live the Buns!
My favorite part is this entire video is Adam Driver sitting there in the most awkward position, and the look on his face that just screams “WTF!? Am I DOING!!???” 😐
Thank you for the memories ❤️. I had the pleasure of meeting Carrie signing autgraphs with Mark Hamill. They were such a delight, charming, and funny. The chemistry between the two was simply amazing 😍. Rest in peace, Princess.
That was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for taking the time to do this! Reminded me of standing in line for 6 hours to see A New Hope in 1977, on a screen that filled your whole field of vision! It was life changing for me and her character was a big part of it!
She was genuine. Her struggles were genuine and she will always be beloved. People didn't know how to take her sense of humor she was so far ahead of those who had the pleasure of interviewing her.
Imagine driving down the street and you see Carrie Fisher and Ellen DeGeneres on the side of the road in Princess Leia buns. Also can we talk about how Carrie said “I’m wearing stupid hair, again” when she was wearing the buns
23:13 Carrie says that Natalie portman was the babe of star wars..noway...Carrie will always be the babe of star wars and one of the top 3 babes of science fiction for all time ....not only total eye candy but also strong, tough, smart, and beautiful.
I've always liked Carrie Fisher. She and Joshua Ravetch wrote a book called "Wishful Drinking." It's a great read! I'm proud to have a copy in my collection. She was a very special lady. RIP Carrie Fisher. I'll see you on the other side. 🙏🏻🌹🙏🏻
When I’m sad, I watch Carrie Fisher interviews on RUclips, Wishful Drinking, and Bright Lights. She always makes me feel better. #MTFBWY Princess. Thank you. ❤️
Darth, thank you so much for doing this super professional job of editing these clips together in a coherent and comedic way. This was so refreshing to watch soooo much of Carrie together in one episode. I miss her and her humour. She was so fascinating and inimitable.
“ the fourth can’t be with me” “No one knew we had an affair, I don’t even think he did” “I was quite the space slut” “Did he kiss you first? ExCuSe Me!?!” “By shit I mean Shit, not shit” 😂😅 Rest In Peace my beautiful Carrie she was great and cool.
Carrie was such an amazing person. Extremely witty and bright, living life in bold colors. So brave and vulnerable with honesty. Such a gift to the world. She was the complete package. So talented and so willing to share her experiences with us. She has done so much to advocate for mental health, removing the stigma of diagnosis and addiction. And, she was a great actor and wonderfully talented author. The world has lost a lot of color with Carrie gone. We miss you!
This is a great compilation! Carrie Fisher was such a natural comedian and so talented as a writer as well as an actor. From her semi-autobiographical book "Postcards From The Edge" (published in 1984) and made into the film of the same name in 1990 which starred Meryl Streep playing the role Carrie Fisher had in her actual life with her mother (Debbie Reynolds) to seeing her one-woman show "Wishful Drinking" and her book of the same name, she was such a talented, complicated and sensitive woman. Her sudden passing and then that of her other, Debbie Reynolds, just the day afterwards, was unexpected and tragic. I do agree with one commenter below - I hope to be greeted by Carrie Fisher at the entrance to heaven.
The world desperately needs more genuine people like Her Highness.
Genuine!!! she was stoned 99% of the time.
@@michaellangan4450 me too!

I think you mean "Your Worship"
I want to bow at her feet.
She's ten steps ahead of all her interviewers.
Yep.
Or possibly twelve steps.
Just like Harrison.
She started show biz as a girl. She was ready.

There's "Wishful Drinking" audiobook on RUclips. I think you might like it.

She wasn't just the princess. She was the sassy queen.
This is Carrie Fisher roasting herself and others for 54 min straight and I love every single sec of it.
Part of this talent was due to her mental hilness.
There's always something sik about someone's who is great :)
I love how Gary accompanied Carrie everywhere!
He was her emotional support pupper
Isn't he precious?
I miss you so much, Carrie.
Your intelligence, self-irony, creativity and truthfulness was sublime. There is no one like you. Auf Wiedersehen.

"Your parents mated well. Please congratulate them," is probably my favorite quote in this whole thing.
21:32 "We still look like ourselves, but like we've melted a bit" - ha, she's a riot. Love Carrie Fisher!
Sometimes I think the young new actors don’t know what to make of her irreverent humor.
They fo through media training so there afraid to say anything wrong bc itll ruin their career.
I think you are right? ..she had such epic sarcasm and acerbic humor. ..Totally admire her.
"actors" today are good little lemmings. They don't dare step out of line. For the narrative, for the party! Onward comrades!
