Jarno being Jarno as usual. I've never finished any Monaco race in the points in my f1 career. Its difficult using a controller. I cant even turn in the hairpin.
I can't do more than a full lap in the first year of the myteam career mode without hearing "that was a big one, are you alright?". Way too hard using a controller with manual and everything else off. I had to change to tv pod and corners only just to get thru it.
Edit: by "get thru it" I mean a liberal use of the rewind button

Why is the on throttle diff set so low, to 60%, when in F1 2021 it was typically closer to something like 90%?
It’s probably for the hairpin
In F1 2020 you would almost never go higher than 55%
It changes from game to game what works and what doesn’t
could also be just bc of the track, monaco has slow speed corners so more rotation is needed

I just tried a race and I noticed that the new “turn in” feature in the pit lane has the wrong keybind. I have to press “X” instead of actually using the steering wheel. I’ve been looking for that option in the setting and I just can’t find it… can anyone help?

The game isn't realistic laptime wise, and remember that in the sim, you can go 110% without fear of crashing, whereas IRL you have to hold back

Great Lap, just sad that the game is so unrealistic. Pole Lap this year was a 1:11.376, that's almost 3 seconds faster :(
F1 drivers can't go as fast:
1) Fear of crashing into barriers
2) The effects of the forces on the driver
Its time trial its normal that they go much faster than the real life pros

In time trial all the cars have the same performance (you can see this option when you select the car), but it can also be realistic performance. The symbol of equal performance is a green square (1:16)
