In France we have never had an equivalent to control by resistance + control of excitation by addition of field. We have gone from resistance to choppers directly (standard choppers, 3-phase choppers, 4-quadrant choppers with GTO).The example is the MR73 Series at Montréal(canada) or MR63 Series (only the 41 and 42 number train "element " in french) For the 211 series, will they be scrapped or will they replace Series 113/115 which remains in certain regions of Japan (I am thinking of Niigata) like always, nice video.😉
K52編成(1986年秋季竣功)は登場時は外扇モーター(東武1万型に類似する音)でしたが、今は内扇モーター(京阪6000系後期車に類似する音)に変わっています。
315系の登場により211系(5000番台含む)と311系、213系5000番台(飯田線の古残車種)は淘汰される可能性が高いです。(313系は他線区に転出して界磁添加励磁車を置換える可能性大です。)
東海の外扇モーターは0番台の16機だけでしたかね。現在は311系などにも載ってたりしますね。
