When adding alcohol ink to anything small like those small metal pieces, put them in a plastic bowl, add a few drips, then just shake softly. It will color the pieces and not waste so much ink. 😉 This spell book is fantabulous!!!

love your work. I have heath problems latest but this looks like something I light be able to accomplish. You are very talented in art and in teaching!
Einat, loved this tutorial. I made one yesterday, loosely following your tutorial, because I skipped cutting the compartments from the book pages and made mine from a Tim Holtz chipboard book, which came with compartments, but I altered them somewhat. I loved your idea of the spider web on the cover from glue. Mine turned out looking similar to yours and I'm quite happy with it. I will visit your web site for some spells. Thanks so much.
love your work. I have heath problems lately but this looks like something I might be able to accomplish. You are very talented in art and in teaching!
totally love it , i have made one and had great fun making it , i am trying to find small spiders to go in it then its done , thank you so much for sharing .I love your work its so different and very inspiring keep it up please.
Love all your projects!! Favorite is the Book of Spells! Totally awesome !!! Need to make a Christmas one for us to help us get in the Christmas mood! Thank you for teaching us so much. Your mind is crazy good in thinking of things to use! Never in 100 years would I have thought to use hot glue to draw with. How Fabulous is that? Truth!!
I love this! going to make this project as soon as I finish the faux leather toilet roll mini from your videos. Great information here. Your ideas are giving my projects a fresh look. thanks. Michele
Really really good 👍 Definitely going to have a go at this! I once made a secret 'hidden' hole in one of my parents old books 📚. Used dad's Stanley knife and cut a big hole right in the centre... filled it with little secret things, put it back where it was ...months later my father was 'reading' my /his book! I went to bed with no tea and never saw the book again! :(
Wow! or Yikes! Whatever, this is really great Einat. I bet your boys like it,too! Thanks for all your great ideas.like the bandage everywhere. Happy Halloween!
the only only only only thing i dont like is the little white plastic skull in the center and the two little spiders... too cheesy. but nonetheless you are a serious craft GENIUS
This is great! But may I give you a great tip to making labels and books look older.....sandpaper the edges. Its a quick trick to make anything look distressed and damaged. But again, even without, love the look of this piece!
I have just discovered your channel Einat Kessler, as I was looking for ideas to create a spellbook album for my October Daily this year. This book is amazing and has given me so many ideas, the spiders web with the glue gun is genius, I was going to use gesso and sticks but this is so much better. Thank you for sharing this great video. I would really like a copy of the list to go in my spellbook but I am guessing you don't post to the UK? xx
love yr channel! may i suggest a tip for placing letters? PLACE THE LAST LETTER FIRST! then the first one, the middle one or middle 2...so in the case of "spells" it would be s, s, e, l...then the p an last l! trust me it has helped MANY
Love this spell book...my daughter-in-law will get one from me! She is Halloween crazy! Thank you so much for the very easy to follow and complete tutorial!~~Marsha ZeeCee Creations
Agreed. Genius, but I would have left the skull charm off with the heart eyes. Takes away from the creepiness and authenticity. Also would remove the holes from the charms. Other than those minor changes, truly a masterpiece!

This spell book is fantabulous!!!
You created a FABULOUS spell book. Very thorough details. Thanks so much. I look forward to your future videos.
i love this but would suggest not being so close to the microphone. the loud breathing really throws everything off
Just added to the "creepy factor!"
Einat what a journey. Love love lo've your work. Video so informative. You make me laugh with your laid back attitude, so cool calm collected and funny. Thank you for sharing your work. Bless you and thanks again.
