I'm an accountant and briefcases are my primary EDC bag for my commute to work on the subway to downtown. I rotate about 3 of them at this point (Brown, Black, and Navy) and the Waterfield Bolt medium is my favorite, its just perfected for office/laptop carry, looks good too. I own a wotancraft pilot 7l, which is my favorite camera bag, I didn't even know they made briefcases, I'll have to look into it...
I've owned the Air Porter for a couple of years now, tan waxed canvas version. I find the zippers to be a bit difficult to pull on mine, but otherwise I love everything about the bag, and Waterfield products in general.

The shoulder strap on the Waterfield is super similar to a strap sold by Tom Bihn.
Great video - would be great to hear thoughts on how these stack up against defy and Rofmia
Great suggestion! We'll see if we can whip up a more in-depth briefcase guide.
Can thewaterfield bag be put under seat of a plane?
Waterfield says it can stand up under the seat to help maximize leg room.
Yeah I'm planning on getting a water field briefcase but not that one...
Neither of these are appealing. Oh well.
