I've got a 9-year-old Muzzetto bag for my ancient 11" MBA, iPad, and all the assorted accessories and am just getting ready for my new 16" MB Pro and this looks like the one. I've had this bag for coming up on two years. It's been traveling around with me everywhere, through airports and on top of wheeled luggage; from Vancouver to Mexico; to co-working and out to cocktails after work. Design-wise the only real bummer is that the waxed canvas is WAY heavier than nylon or something else synthetic. So far the only real wear that's a bummer is the coating on the metal hardware for the shoulder strap has worn off and a rough metal is underneath that creates a grinding friction as the shoulder strap moves around. There are also some threads coming loose on the shoulder strap. And Waterfield's matchingish pouches are KILLER. Get the gear pouch FTW. So far this bag is my favorite daily carry ever. It's like a little bit of a Filson aesthetic, but with more practical design considerations. I've been out in heavy rain without any issue too. Dig the Bolt Briefcase.
Pls advise. Will a peak design tech pouch which is 4inches or bellroy tech pouch which is 2.8inches fit in the main compartment of this bag, if the bag is normally filled?

Not sure Tumi falls in a category of getting at a conference? Love your videos and am definitely addicted to bags and have MANY including the Bolt it’s really nice quality a class above most but most higher end Tumi bags/backpacks are at least as nice if not nicer quality in my opinion. The problem with Tumi is the price point is even higher. Just saying :-)

Ok, I bought Bolt. I'm 6.6 and bag's size is "medium". Preliminary report,. After Peak Design Messenger materials are ... different. Don't give me wrong, if you love Peak Design materials you wouldn't be impressed by anything else. So Bolt feels like old style canvas that will survive more abuse and usage during your life time but looks ... just ok. To be clear, materials and quality feels like it built for ages, no doubts. It is bag for long run. First impression, when you open the package, "colour is not tan brown" and "looks less impressive than Peak Design" but in few weeks you start appreciate it. Materials more robust and can survive a lot. It is more subtle, more suitable for suit and more "Indiana Jones" style in the same time. Internal organisation is much better, zipper is astonished, leather and internal materials are "dope". Usability 4.5 of the 5 but, it is like with every leather/canvas bag, you should abuse it so it will feels unique and better over time. It is not joke, you should really abuse it. Minus 0.5 point because if you have few pens you are expecting to have at least two "bullet" like pockets.That small feature but Filson has it. Overall, very quality product, no doubts, but if you will be using it from time to time it will be like Land Rover LR4 on 22 inch wheels, in other words, cheap and very disappointing. It is more like Maserati GT , you should really appreciate engine and mechanics and be less concerns about keys fob and bluetooth. Still, it is just first few weeks. I will post update in few month for people who are looking to buy one of this PS It is interesting to compare it with other canvas bag like Filson.
Cam O'Brien actually, very good. No issue at all. I would say two things are annoying. 1. No pencil holder (up to you) 2. Metal hooks on strap is noisy(metal friction ) when you are commuting, but that issue of design of those hooks overall rather this strap. Strange thing, it looks better when it fool, if it isn’t loaded - it looks, not so good(IMHO)

Way better. I have a lot of their products & they are the best on the market. I left Tumi for them.
