Thank you for the epic review! Just an update for your viewers: As of this mid-month (November 2024) we have updated the shoulder strap to a much more ergonomic and comfortable padded strap! Thanks again 🙏
@@Nomads.Nation awesome. Was interested in your take on their weekender bag and also the brown color. Think it might also be a good comparison with some higher end briefcases from the likes of Stuart and Lao and Satchel and Page. Not sure the alternatives are necessarily in the Nomad category.
I’ve had my alto for two years. There is a lack of a soft bottom for your computer that the bottom buttons help with but still present and the glass pocket with micro fiber can get tight. But I love it overall. Design is super comfortable to carry and I have to do all day conferences with meetings in rapid succession like speed dating and it holds up. Only made a few bucks through partnership program, but I get asked where it’s from. Better budget and function than a Satchel Paige top end leather bag. I organize differently so great for meetings and digital nomad day at coffee shop. Another cool feature not in review is horizontal pass through for an umbrella, newspaper, or tote (what i use it for). Overall, bag is 9.5+/10!
I recommend you take a look at the Air Porter from WaterField designs designed specifically as an airline personal item. It's "spendy" also from a San Francisco based company but addresses many of the gripes you have with the Alto briefcase.
Thanks for the review! Any chance you could do one for the Trakke Portobello? There's only one in YT right now from Pack Hacker. It's consistently out of stock in Trakke so it's gotta be a good/hit product.
Hello aaron I think you must review heirloom messenger 2 from the leather shop because that bag i think the most overkill leather out here and the organization is the best because is minimalist but very useful 👍🏻
That brief is so classy. It looks like it drinks tea in a London gentleman's club before shopping at Harrods for tassel loafers and calling everyone "old boy" ☕ ☕ Chin chin old boy.
Noting beats my longchamp leather briefcase it’s more durable , better built , more elegant and beats in capacity most of other briefcases and it has also an elegant pass through The model you presented is a bit bulky and lacks of elegance . About la Dong pad I guess you are all Wrong as it’s not the main way to hold a briefcase so the lack of padding is not important imho Oh and too much pockets I’d rather have a large zipped front pocket instead of the flip front panel

I own the alto, it is awesome. Classy, light, elegant. Would not go to any meeting or business trip without it
yea dude I was super impressed, it's a killer business/travel bag

@@Nomads.Nation thanks Aaron 👍🏻, can't wait to see the review of that bag 🔥
They need to also bring back the weekender -
🤞
the zippers sound jingly… any way to silence them without using zipper pulls that would affect the look 🧐
not that I know of, I think the jingle is here to stay lol
