      Yeah fingers crossed it just hasn't been done yet. May be because of breath holding or something interfering

      @TrueGameData Either that, or they figured that with snipers having breath holding, they didn't feel the need to give snipers this buff. I'm inclined to believe the latter because it seems like something they'd do with their reasoning being "We DoNt WaNt To MaKe SnIpErS oVeRpOwErEd"

      One shot snipers are OP in a 'higher' TTK game, so I completely disagree (at least for WZ)

      @foldinghome8593 If you're dying to quickscoping, you're just getting outplayed because quickscoping in modern COD (minus Cold War, since it ran on the old engine) is harder than it was in Pre-MW19 COD. If you're dying to hardscoping, then yeah, I can understand how that is OP, but this change wouldn't affect hardscoping. It would only affect quickscoping.
      The whole reason quickscoping is harder in modern COD is because of the random crosshair placement the moment you ADS, which is impossible to predict. If you don't believe me, watch TGD's video breaking it down. He explains exactly why a change like this is necessary to make snipers feel better to use, because right now they feel terrible.
      Also, if a bolt action sniper can't one-shot, it becomes useless. The TTK in MWIII is not high enough to warrant snipers receiving a damage nerf. MWIII doesn't have HALO levels of high TTK, and even then, HALO's sniper is a one-shot.

    I could tell right away, dropped 14 in my first game of ranked before SBMM clamped right up. Thought it felt much closer to warzone 1. Great video as always Tony!

    Apparently the sway when moving side to side (aim not strafe) has been kept on snipers only as a balancing mechanic for quickscoping, other weapons you can aim around quickly and it stays centered.

    TGD, you forgot mention about devs has partically fixed issue that causes hipfire reticle moving out from the center of screen, unfortunatelly with some guns, recoil still making hip reticle moving away (especially if you stacking hipfire/tacfire reducing attachments)

    I ran a 2.5x scope on my sniper rifle and there was no immediate sway. I think that they have implemented the change on all the lower ads scopes and still need to add the patch for the long distance scopes.

    Oh my God, I actually thought that the aimdot sway on movement was me massively overcompensating and failing in my aim. I couldn't seem to correct it with changing the ads sensitivity and I couldn't replicate it on an aim trainer and I just could not work out what was happening. But now I can see that Actually it's just how the game is programmed and the reason that I'm missing and seemingly overcompensating is actually that I'm undercompensating for a ridiculous aim mechanic that happens on movement.

    Nice update...but mouse aiming feels still not that consistent, because of the strong reticle shift while moving. Also they should lower that heavy barrel smoke and stuff, because that makes mouse aiming even harder, while aim assist on controller sees right through it. So mouse players had to use muzzle attachments to reduce smoke, to not be in a disadvantage.

    Noticed a couple of changes not listed in yesterdays notes.
    One is they HEAVILY nerfed the DM56 for Warzone compared to MP. Overall damage (75-65-50-50 to 61-53-41-41) AND Effective/Min ranges (35/53 to 36/36). Huge dmg dropoff.

    Feels like they are very skittish about buff snipers in anyway. Nice to see that there is a new one shot but that of course has a lot of limitations

    Good change on paper but I'm curious to hear about in game performance from other mnk users. A few test matches in and I'm winning fewer gunfights and piling up an even higher assist rate.

    I'm hearing rumors that the reticle sway is due to firecrackers jiggle physics being applied to certain attachments. @truegamedata can you test for this? Big if true.

    Tony, do you know that this change is coming to snipers? Exclusive Ace seemed to be against it being applied to snipers because as it stands quick scoping in MP is already very powerful. Based off the way they worded the patch notes it sounds like it was left out intentionally.

    They added the idle sway on snipers back in black ops 1 to nerf quickscoping. I would love to see them remove it but I doubt that will ever change.

    Can you please do a video about TTK from range, Controller Vs MnK? Or at least check it, I don’t have the facilities but when I play ranked on KBM, the TTK feels way slower from long range than it does when I’m messing about on Controller on multiplayer, maybe it’s just that controller has no vertical recoil, I’m not sure

    It's definitely better but the jellyfish effect still remains when scoped in and moving your mouse which still makes it feel weird. Also, there is still definitely an input issue on MnK. Aiming is just not as smooth as even MWII.

    I just use attachments for sway when you do that you realize recoil was never the problem it's always been sway my builds beam

    Thanks Tony! Any chance you’ve seen the YAW debate with changing your YAW to make KBM feel better? Not sure if it’s legit but to me it feels better. Also change’s gpuuploadheaps to false

    Thank god for xrk stalker, cause all the other sniper bullshit done lately is a smack to the community.
    1. snipers are slow and flinchy for years now.
    2. Most of them need to kill their velocity to Even be able to one tap. Also kills their pierceability. And when hitting a car, you dont Even know if u hit player or car.
    3. nerfed the one good laser, and then buffed a laser with zero aiming stability, and which has both a flashlight and laser which is constantly on showing everyone exactly where you are, when u peak and which direction you look.
    4. buff all other guns with a attachment which litterally removes recoil.
    5. boost all other wepons aiming sway, but not snipers.
    Nerfing melee functions every patch, it was not Even a problem…. Ask urself, when was the last time a knifer killed you? A riot shielder is something completely different, those are usually having a gun with their riot shield and dont engage unless your stunned into oblivion. They Are not forced to be offensive, meanwhile a knifer is forced to be both tactical, decisive and offensive with little room for faults and little room for defensive play.
    So yes, i will enjoy the 50m xrk. Paired with my knife and throwing knives. But i hardly think this game has any diversity anymore.
    According to devs snipers needs to be:
    - weak(slow ads, flinch, weak velocity)
    - preferable not one tap
    - hard to use (massive aiming sway, crap velocity)
    - punnished(a lasershow which lets every enemy know where u are, and when you peak)
    So if we Get a one tap sniper, we know it will be weak. (50m, flinchwhore, lasershow, crap aiming stability and compared to other guns and previous call of dutys crap ads).
    In warzone1 i ran double snipers all the way since mp7/mp5 and kilo was meta.
    My kar98k for long range had:
    920 velocity, 290ms ads, decent aim assist, good movement speed, supressed.
    My spr had: Even better movement speed, epic fire rate, 270ms ads, 480velocity(same as typical snipers now)
    Later kar98k was swapped to vanguard version, 1k velocity, 400ms ads, superior aiming stability and quickly accurate Prior to full ads visibility. 97m one tap range.
    Spr build then had only 34m one tap range on those later patches, but that was far enough to usefull in building and close combat.
    In warzone one we had a usefull crossbow(destroyed last patch, still better than current). And we had ballistic knife which was the most fun wepon in the game. Also hardest to use, a real fun high risk, high reward wepon which was very viable in the right hands.

    Yes this helped but the bigger difference is setting the monitor distance coefficient properly in conjunction with the config change for raw input, imho.
    It's almost like they are going out of their way to fuck over K&M players. Warzone seems slow and boring to me, so have been playing resurgence. Which map do they choose for season 2? Fortunes Keep, which is continual close quarters battles. Once again, controller players with the advantage. Also, they increased the sprint to fire on the lockwood, one of the few viable options for a K&M players.
    I can't believe I wasted the money on the season pass for this crap.

    yeah, they need to fix the strafing. this is better than nothing though. controller gets rotational when both players are strafing
