Too bad the game is ruined by SBMM. No matter how good you get, you’ll always be in a lobby with people of the same skill. You will not experience the process of becoming better and doing better against others because the game will always pair you with those of the same skill level.
Yeah I feel you! To be fair I like SBMM in general, BUT it needs to be adjusted imo. To keep it simple, they should widen the skill range. So that there is a good mixture of everything in every single match - good, mid and lower skilled players - if that makes sense. I somehow feel that the devs are about to do something about it, because sledgehammer had the time limited playlist recently and SBMM was noticeably lower. Lets hope the numbers are into our favor :D

FoV is maxed out at 120 as I want to have as much information as I possibly can. When it comes to DPI I always leave it at 800. I was playing MW3 with a sensitivity of 11.45, but recently increased it to 14.35 since MW3 is so fast paced and I really feel more comfortable with this, especially picking up fire fights at 180°. Try it out and give it time so you can adapt to it. But be careful, that's probably not what I would run in Warzone. Since you need to hit shots at longer ranges I'll probably mess around with the Custom Sensitivity per Zoom, so decrease sensitivity while ADS. It helped me a lot to recap where I aimed in fire fights that I lost. For example if I had to fight a target where I had to aim to the right and was off target to the left with my first shots, then I knew the sens was to low. If I was off to the right, then it was to high. Hope that helps. Keep it up and don't get frustrated. You'll get where you want to be!

This is Just a whole lot of commonsense I'll sum it up in a sentence. You should use cover and corners and play around getting 1 to 2 kills then backings up to safety
It definitely is. Good conclusion though. These are basics right. But still, sometimes you're so focussed getting back into action right away or just relaxing without thinking about your actions and then you find yourself right in the middle of that run- die-repeat loop and you get frustrated so much. At least I had this experience.
