Ok one of my favs: coarsely chop 3 to 4 Brazil nuts, and a handful of whole unchopped pecans, melt 3 to 4 tablespoons Lily's salted caramel chips and 1 tblsp coconut oil- mix. Add nuts and enough hemp seeds to make a nobake cookie consistency. Spoon onto cookie sheet and place in fridge til hardened. These are how I use hemp hearts❤ most often. Ps I love you guys!

Prep your cauliflower rice first then mix in the hemp seeds and palm rice then use as you would rice. I made some curried chicken with low carb veggies and added the "rice" mixture and mixed. When you posted this video, I tried a modified version of this and it was really good. And it made me think I might be able to use hemp hearts to make a replacement for stuffing for thanksgiving. So yesterday, I did just that. It’s not a perfect replacement and the texture, of course, is not the same but it definitely hit the spot. I used hemp hearts, chicken broth, onions, bell peppers, celery, sage, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper, chicken breast, and sausage, and butter.
I boiled the chicken breast, and cooked a little sausage and put that to the side. Then I sautéed the onions, peppers and chopped celery in the sausage grease until the onions were translucent. Then I added the chicken, sausage, hemp hearts, chicken broth, and seasonings. I let this simmer with a lid on it until the liquid is reduced and the hemp hearts are soft and tender. Then I added the butter and fluffed. It tastes similar to stuffing. And is very low carb!!

I blend in my magic bullet ricotta cheese, hemp hearts, unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla a little salt and somes drops of sweetener to make a pudding. So good tastes like chocolate and peanut butter pudding combined. The cocoa, vanilla and sweetner masks the grassiness of the hemp hearts and the blending brings out the oils of the hemp hearts which is what give that slight nutty flavor

I had a tough time with Cauliflower causing me to bloat, I found out that our bodies lack the enzyme (Alpha-galactosidase) that breaks down Raffinose. I recommend anyone who has an issue with Cauliflower try supplementing with a chewable anti-gas tablet that has Alpha-galactosidase in it.

I saw your video few weeks ago. It’s made me curious about hemp. Voila, I got it in my health shop. Today I made this recipe. It’s fantastic. As you were talking about it I expected a bit of weird taste but nothing is weird! It’s very tasty. I used almond flakes plus put some crunchy onion on top when I served. Thank you for the video. Now I’m going for other hemp recipes.

You guys are so cute/funny, I'm half asian too, I can totally relate to the "rice thing" hence, it's been hard to think about doing keto without the rice staple but now, you've made the hemp hearts look so good, I'm going to give keto a try. PS: cauliflower rice is "okay" but not the same...of course no substitute is exactly the same, thanks for sharing, I'm going to watch your channel more to get motivated to "really" do keto!

I just tried this, and it is flavorful, but I think it would even be better. If you mixed it with your dry pan, cauliflower rice it would give it a more realistic fried rice taste. Thank you I appreciate you gals!

Ill give it a try. For people that are used to cauli rice. They could add some in to cut down the calories if necessary, just a suggestion. I like the spices in the rice, it should be good.

@@christinebrown7934 No problem. I would caution that the hearts of palm noodles aren't as good as the rice. The rice is great, but the noodles are not nearly as good.

Hemp Hearts is a great, if often overlooked ingredient. I like to use it, for example, as part of a baking flour mix in my keto oven pancake. A tablespoon or two adds good nutrition and texture while complimenting the flavor. This Pilaf if definitely on my list now.
