My first video from Bedford station in almost 2 years! There's certainly a few noticeable changes. Particularly regarding the introduction of the Thameslink class 700 fleet. First part of the video was filmed during the early afternoon, then I returned later in the evening and got a few more shots in the dark before heading home.
INCLUDES: Thameslink class 700's, 319 & 377's, East Midlands HST & Merdians and London Midland 153 & 150.
Shame the 319's are few and far between now in Bedford. Most of them retired or relocated to a new owner. Same as the 387's, most of which have gone to their new owners Great Western now, shuttling between Paddington and Hayes.

thks for the video. You got lucky to have some 319 and a 377, I thought the class 700 had replaced all these series but it's not the case. I suppose when all the 700 will be delivered the same place will be all white

wow those 700s looked great first time ive seen them as we don't get them in crewe also its not that often see those type of locos 12 carriages long and one long unit rather than made up of separate units of 3x4 cars or 4x3 cars
I thought that East Midlands trains had more of the HST 125s?

Chris Baverstock you don't permission to spot on any station although you may need to buy a platform ticket if you don't arrive by train

The 387s haven't gone to Great Western. They received their own brand new fleet. The Thameslink ones went to Great Northern.

But they were brand new trains, not ones from TL.
I don't think this is Bedford as some express trains in this video don't run at bedford
That is 100% Bedford, and you do get some express services stopping at Bedford
Yeah totally not Bedford even though the station sign says Bedford at 12:14 but we'll ignore that...
