When Messi points to the sky, it's to his grandmother who passed away when he was a child. She's the main reason Messi ever got into football to begin with.
Barcelona were over a billion in debt, they could not sign any new players and Messi's contract ended that summer. They were unable to renew it due to the financial regulations that basically said "no, Barcelona, you've spent too much, you've lost too much money, you aren't allowed to sign anyone at this time."
Yeah, Rooney was his teammate, that's why he e didn't answer: "what?? A little beat better? Just a little beat? Are you fkn kidding me bro?". Rooney got so much respect for Ronaldo just for acting like if It was a normal question.
I loved when you said that Messi is in a Super Zayan Blue stage now, I'm Dragon Ball Z fan Bro. I've subscribed, shout out from Guatemala City, Central América!
Spanish labour laws prevented Messi from staying at Barcelona. By law, a new signing would have to have the player earn at least 50% of his previous salary. But because Barcelona were in financial problems (1.2 Billion debt), Financial Fair Play rules made it impossible to keep him for that salary. Sorry for breaking it down anyway. =p
Just an FYI. They use Soccer in many countries but also still in UK networks. It's where the name came from. As someone who grew up playing and watching Thierry Henry It's def because of the major networks coverage. They realized they can finally make money on it recently. Currently it's the 4th (over NHL) and moving it's way up quickly. Also MLS is actually a pretty good league. Top 10 in the world but I wouldn't say close to the top 4. There is more parity in MLS than any other league though. It would be great to see your journey to choosing your local club and how it goes moving forward! Messi is here now! and we gotttttttttta love it! He was KO'd in the first round of the playoffs though! Many other newer US fans channels have done so in great success.. also!, to add.. Our USMNT players are really good overseas! Weston Mckennie just scored today and beat Manchester City in the Champions League (He and Ronaldo used to play together on Juventus).. Pulisic is killing it at AC Milan.. etc! So much good stuff to cover!!!!
@@EvieWillNotDie what false?they couldnt sign any player becouse of that.Even if messi renew the contract they cant register him.The la liga imposed spending cap on wages and transfer fees.
Great reaction video to the goat 🐐 however i think you need to listen to the commentary more and if you want to talk pause the video. For example i think you totally missed the bit when Barca were down 4-0 to PSG in the champions League round 1, and came back to beat PSG 6-1.
You used dragon ball analogy to describe football (two of my favorite things in the world), subscribed bro!
Much love man! I’m a nerd at heart love dragon ball 🔥🤝
3:03 "You'll hear an awful lot of it (the name Messi) over the next 10 years"
We are a few months away from being 20 years since that quote.
