  • A slideshow showing the construction of a Bf 109E RC airplane built from Brian Taylor plans. The first of two videos in this video series shows construction of the model from plans and a "short kit". Basic construction methods for building the model are shown as well as in-depth detailing methods to make the model "come alive". Cockpit detailing is also shown.
The model was originally powered with a RCV90SP engine but was later converted to electric power. Retracts are Unitract mechanicals designed specifically for this plan.

When a plane looks that good it's hard to put them in the air knowing that things can go wrong. You did a great job, enjoyed the video, I hope we'll see more.

Thanks and yes, there will be more videos on the way. Currently, wrapping up the first in a two-parter on an extreme makeover of a Seagull Bf109E. It should be posted in a few days, I hope.
