Wow, somehow the RUclips algorithm has struck after more than one year. Thanks for pointing out that I should have worn safety glasses - you are right. I was careless there and I will definitely wear them every time in the future. I won't sell any plans or parts at the moment, sorry. There might be something in the future but not now. Oh and sorry if you don't like the music, it's what I like. Thanks for all of your kind comments!
Dude this is awesome but can you (and everyone else just stop with the bullshit music). Anyone with a brain wants to know how you did this and what you were doing at various stages. I froze this at 3:23 because the music was driving me nuts and I can see this really interesting spindle unit for the inside machining. Most people would use a boring bar. I'd like to know what it is you have done there. I've just ordered a lathe and am waiting for delivery. I'm considering what my first few projects are and a machining head like that is one thing I am considering. Most people find a way to mount a Dremel or similar but yours looks specific and it looks like it does a great job. You don't need to go into every last detail but give us something. Who designed this, was it you, someone you know or did you buy plans from somewhere? Was it based on something specific or is it an original design? What types of aluminum are you using? Do you have a parts list? This is an awesome piece of work. Please share with us how you actually built it and what decisions you made.
Impressive! I think If you increase pitch of second propeller will gaing some efficiency

I was about to say the same thing as @Shine. A steeper curve for the rear prop will increase efficiency. I guess it"s asier to obtain by using two servos for prop pitch. Great work, man. Simply beautiful!
Wow, either contra-rotating or variable pitch would have been cool on its own. Combining them together takes it all together further into the realm of insanity. But you know what they say about the fine line between genius and insanity! Big thumbs up for a cool project and some excellent machining skills.
Machinist here, well done my friend. You have balls of steel to actually fly your model with such an assembly of lovely machined parts. I truly understand what went into this from idea, to modelling, to actually making chips... Fuckload of work. My hats off to you!
The sound of the Wyvern in War Thunder sounds terrifying and so does this RC Scale Wyvern! Sounds just like the War Thunder one I love this as being 13 currently and being into WW2
2 Things. 1) That is beautiful engineering work. You are talented. 2) You should wear safety glasses when running a lathe. Do as you will, but you cannot go back if something bad happens. NOT criticism, just honestly care about your sight. Keep up the amazing builds!!
One of the best RC projects I have seen undertaken. The complexity involved must have been chaotic. I simply love the end result. Thank you for sharing your special moments with us. Cheers
Maybe he wants to go blind to show people he can still do it sans eyes. Like when Arthur Fonzarelli had to rebuild his motorcycle when he couldn't see after Richie Cunningham disassembled it.
I'm speechless, amazing work, great design. Im crying when I have to do something simple in F360 for 3d printing 😁. Thats how model should be done closest to original as possible. 💥👍
Very cool! interesting that with electric motors it’s way more efficient then a single engine with gear box configuration. Also great work, looks like a piece of jewelry! Edit: the whole build including aircraft is amazing. I’m sure the original designers of the aircraft would be blown away!
You are an absolute genius... My goodness that looks beatifull. I was prood of myself for building an FPV quad. But this is from another level. Wow!! Just WOW!!!
I was absolutely amazed at your skill and creativity. I have often wonder what type of individual would be capable of designing and building a Swiss Watch, now I know. Great job and thanks for reassuring my faith in human creativity....very cool.....!
Brilliant work, brilliant design. And those electric motors looked pretty heavy in your hand. It will surely be very powerfull. Incredible how that technology is being used. The batteries will surely be amajor part of the aircraft as well!
I just finish my coaxial counter rotating propeller mechanism today... your mechanism is so much better and industrial... however mine is good enough. Fantastic job, tnx for your video👍👍
LowFlyer I make a coaxial drone with swash plate for blades angle control... My job is not at your level and your proficiency but it is good enough! 😊 Your engine is perfect👍 I can send my coaxial video for you if you send me your Email or virtual society ID.

You did an amazing job with this, I quite like Dream Theater so the music doesn’t bother me at all.

Great work, man. Simply beautiful!
Who cares about the music , I’m drooling all over what you did ! Please inform when you’ll be willing to do another set ! Thx
Merry Christmas
Absolutely incredible. You should take this model to the Top Gun competition.
Never before seen stuff , be smart keep record of everything and sell it to the masses, you shall be remembered
Thanks!
Absolutely fantastic feat of model engineering. I'm very impressed.

Thanks my friend!
Wow, I loved seeing the details of the mechanism for controlling pitch. Mad "props"!
You machinists are true artists! You use lathes etc instead of paint and brushes is all. Simply Amazing!
The sound of the Wyvern in War Thunder sounds terrifying and so does this RC Scale Wyvern! Sounds just like the War Thunder one I love this as being 13 currently and being into WW2

The attention to details were out of this world. Having it flown was a bonus. Next complicated project please 😁
Amazing build!!! Loved seeing the complexity of your setup. Thanks for taking the time to share this!
Glad you liked it!
Impressive! The paddle pitch control was unbelievable. Cristian's great work of art.
Stunning work! 👍🏻
Absolutely the most impressive upgrade I’ve ever seen. Bravo.
Holy cow the engineering in this its just flat amazing. i could stare at this beautiful piece of work all day!!!
This is a great project! Great engineering and lathe work! Did not know guys like you was out there! I'm a believer now!
Huge respect and awesome to see someone bring something new to the hobby.
Superb job but had to turn the volume right down
Saw the first shots and thought it was real! It must be so satisfying to see it fly.
One of the best RC projects I have seen undertaken. The complexity involved must have been chaotic.
I simply love the end result. Thank you for sharing your special moments with us.
Cheers
The absolute Best RUclips presentation out there! Thank You Christian's Projects for showing something of worth.
gorgeous. Beautiful work, and incredible engineering.

I hope you never feel regret for not wearing eye protection in your shop. Besides the risks you took to your eyes it looks fantastic.
Seconded. No safety glasses is no smart...
Yes ! Even Colin Furze wears a safety tie at least ! 😄
Maybe he wants to go blind to show people he can still do it sans eyes. Like when Arthur Fonzarelli had to rebuild his motorcycle when he couldn't see after Richie Cunningham disassembled it.
Thanks for the feedback.
Amazing work! I love the Dream Theater background music, I went to one of their concerts once. Truly an experience.
I'm speechless, amazing work, great design. Im crying when I have to do something simple in F360 for 3d printing 😁. Thats how model should be done closest to original as possible. 💥👍

I was absolutely amazed at your skill and creativity. I have often wonder what type of individual would be capable of designing and building a Swiss Watch, now I know. Great job and thanks for reassuring my faith in human creativity....very cool.....!
Also, you gotta be Swiss aka a Swisstian or Switzerlandian.
Otherwise, he'd be just a regular, boring skilled watchmaker. Bleagh!
Hated the music, but loved this amazing project! Excellent job.
Brilliant work, brilliant design. And those electric motors looked pretty heavy in your hand. It will surely be very powerfull. Incredible how that technology is being used. The batteries will surely be amajor part of the aircraft as well!
Ohyes, they are. First, I flew it with 6S 5800mAh but at 120Amps, they were too weak. I now fly it with 6S 7500mAh.
I just finish my coaxial counter rotating propeller mechanism today... your mechanism is so much better and industrial... however mine is good enough. Fantastic job, tnx for your video👍👍
Thanks man! On what plane are you installing it?
LowFlyer I make a coaxial drone with swash plate for blades angle control... My job is not at your level and your proficiency but it is good enough! 😊 Your engine is perfect👍 I can send my coaxial video for you if you send me your Email or virtual society ID.
Very nice work!
