I completely understand why you are not interested in finishing this. Though it's cool project, it's also draining all your powers. Thanks for sharing this video, for me it's even a bit nostalgic.

I totally lose it with the RE3 reference in the window that nemesis breaks. Awesome job, It's a total shame that you didn't finished it, but watching this video makes me feel so nostalgic about it. Those were really great times
Gonna be real, while the remake made the RPD make sense structure wise, the old map is still very nice. Like the old RPD map was scary because it's this brightly lit place, wide space, literally the opposite of typical horror, where it's dark and shit. This to me was much more scary because now I can see what is chasing me. The new RPD map from the remake is prettier but I think it excels in other places the OG didn't. I think that the fact that we could now do much more with the environment tells a better story, but I don't think that's a bad thing necessarily because the OG map was plenty scary enough and had to find other ways of getting you. anyways, all this is to say this is great work, thank you for sharing!

ngl the og map from RE2 really doesn't fit a more realistic aesthetic. Same for Darkside Chronicles attempt at this, easy to understand why the remade the whole thing for RE2R
@@badluck747 I'm not sure, but I like reinterpretations better than remakes. I concur that RE 1 Remake was excellent, but since it seemed like more of the same, I became disinterested halfway through.
I always thought it was Re5, Resident Evil 4 changed a lot to keep the series interesting with the location changes and tone. But i thought it was still pretty damn good game but got repetitive once you got to the island.
@YousefMohamedAbdulMoniem tbf for a gamecube game, it's graphically impressive It's just the re4 remake rotted my brain so much with its tight dark and gritty atmosphere, and it's insane levels of aura from said atmosphere that I can no longer look at the original re4 game the same was I used to. Re4 remakes atmosphere/art style > og re4 atmosphere and artstyle.
it's my first time seeing a custom map for the old re4, i thought it wasn't possible to customize maps for this game! that's awesome!
