I forgot to mention that once you are complete with the Monolith to reset it you have to gain like 40-50 corruption, which you can descale by completing the echo JUST BEHIND your starting point in your new monolith it will allow you to descale corruption to as much as you want at the end of the echo through a menu. Have fun everyone! Feel free to share what your experience was if you tested this out.
If you are COF, you want to use whatever build gets you high corruption. Your favor with COF is directly tied to the amount of exp gained, and EXP nodes are actually worth more than unique/exalted nodes because you can convert exp nodes(or just high base exp mobs) into COF prophecies for uniques or exalted or whatever.
That could be the case. I didn't get the chance to do much testing for CoF, but for the people who are having trouble pushing corruption this could be useful in the sense of mix maxing how far they could go. I don't want everyone to be forced to play Blood Warlock.
That’s all contextual though. Maximizing xp/minute still has to factor in time to complete each node. The optimal strategy is to push corruption until clear time drops below a certain threshold.
I believe this vid isn't just specific for low corruption, but the highest corruption your build can reach - what strategy is optimal while you're at your build's corruption limit. Every build will hit its wall eventually.
the problem with that is target farming. there are some items you can't get from prophesies. things such as boss items, or specific mono drops. prophesies will give you the same stuff as a rune of ascendance will and most of those items aren't what you target farm. so this guy's strategy is actually better.
@@goldenKeep70I was wondering interaction between prophecy for example, if I had prophecy that drops x3 unique wands when killing exiled mage, are there 2 drop tables that drops mad alchemist's wand 'A' from killed exiled mage, and 'B' from prophecy proc unique wand drop from killing exiled mage? or B refers just like rune of ascendancy, just dropping general global drop non zone-boss drops?
It’s all about xp per hour is CoF. This is probly fine no matter how you look at it exp wise. But low key. The rewards from the completion outside of the xp nodes are trash. Anything that lets you farm favor faster is king. I would take an xp node over anything in cof.
i just have one monolith that i push corruption for fun on. the rest of them i keep lower on purpose for speed farming. thanks for the strategy on using those reset efficiently
What you've done here is very interesting, well thought out, and impressive. Probably a great pre 1.0 strategy. I don't think this is still worth doing though if you are Circle of Fortune. Why do a 1x unique echo when you could do an XP tome echo which gives enough favor for 6 Uniques (on average) via prophecies?
I might have given a bit of a wrong statement here if you take CoF into consideration. I have played Merchant's Guild since launch and have not tested CoF, but I do know that in fact xp tomes echo are the best if you are over level 100 and the higher corruption, especially when you target arena keys to vendor and then swap or have an alt that can trade through Merchant. This video's goal was to set you up for success as much as possible at the desired corruption you reach whatever that might be according to your build of preference.
Great video appreciate you pointing this out. One thing I wasn't sure about is if I go push 1k or even 2k corruption, does that have any miniscule increase chance on getting hitting more LPs on drops.
Yes but I believe the point is that going higher and higher corruption eventually reduces your efficiency. Over time, the more efficient player sees more loot, more rewards etc.
@@Skazzo Where is the eficiency in this video? he has low gear, 1LP and yellow ring. I mean Im not even pushing very high corruption and I have better gear and 20m+ gold, playing the normal way
@@cosmincosmin3695 The best eficiency is his relic which is caster one aka noob. hE says he clears echos like 30 sec yet I see the empty slots where he died lol
Sorry if I missed the point, but do we 1) completely explore the entire monolith first before executing the chaos/memory stones or 2) as soon as we have one chaos/memory? If it's point 2, wouldn't the chaos also reroll any potentially unexplored echoes, or is it more likely to have better outcomes (since you mentioned they have a tendency to produce better echoes)?
You try to reveal as much of the monolith by doing the least amount of bad reward echoes possible so when you use chaos you reroll these bad rewards to have the chance to make them good and then once you use the memory you will have mostly good rewards stacked up. The more you've explored (memory/chaos beacons you've found the better)
This strategy is good but won't really work for very rare and extremely rare uniques. They have a % chance to be rerolled into another unique when dropped , up to 98% for the rarest ones. Higher corruption reduce this reroll chance, and also increase the chance for legenday potential. You have to be really lucky to find a red ring at 300 corruption ^^
I think your wrong. just my opinion....maybe this is a good strategy for the trade guild.. but if your COF... its tremendously more efficient to just spam clear monos at the highest corruption (that you can do quick/safe) Seeing you having 25 gazes and only gonna get +50 corruption for it kills me heh.... If your build is super terrible and wont ever clear 300+ sure do this strat... but no way this strat is better than spamming Prophicies, and the 300+ corruption items you are missing out on by not killing Orobyss.... Legit BIS amulet for ALL builds.. Reality is getting a single "exalted reward" for a echo clear.... vs getting 8x exalted items dropping from a prophecy.... its not even a comparison.... this is a bad strat sry....
As already mentioned in several other comments this is mostly for Merchant's Guild. I only took CoF into consideration partially. With CoF you want to push the higher corruption possible and chase after xp tomes.
@@KrumblePoe you should have mentionen that in the video not in comment section. and where did u hear "the more the merrier" from ? sure not in ur country, which is poland ?
For whatever reason, not fighting the orobyss fight is dumb, that guy has great drops why the hell not? If you want to stay at a certain corruption level, just respec out of the corruption from the special echo right next to start
its so when you use the monolith of chaos and memories that you can fill a whole map with the unique and exalted nodes to farm, and when you run out of those two nodes, then you reset and go again
Bruh... With fortune guild you need more exp for points. At 1500 corruption you get 50k+ points for observatory in few runs :) meaning you get rain of targeted loot. So your strategy would be tmes worse. Of course if you're runing 1k corruption fast.
Great, tired see people everywhere asking why u dont play falcon bla bla bla because can push high corrupt, screw them we play what we want ,we control what we play ,not the guide or the game control u to play them
I was using Low Life Shadow Daggers Falconer (no Dive Bomb), but I am testing self-ignite Warlock now. Apparently there's a marksman build out there that can zoom super fast at 1.4k corruption maybe try look into that.
Boss rare drops only caps out when you reach 500% rarity on top of lower corruption giving you lower stability gain per echo so no your suggestion is just flawed
This strategy was never about boss drops, it's about echo rewards. It's probably flawed if you want to submit to the corruption meta and play Blood Warlock to push the highest corruption possible, but if you want to settle at mid corruption like 300-700 on a build YOU enjoy (not saying you shouldn't enjoy meta builds or Blood Warlock) my strategy here is just a way to min max your monolith at the corruption you've settled at for farming. I didn't mean to misinform albeit I might have done so and I do apologize, but I do hope some people find this useful as in my opinion this is the best way to approach monoliths once you've reached your desired corruption.
i dont think anyone ever said high end corruption was better for farming ! ppl are showcasing builds at 1k+ just to prove the strength of the build not efficient farms
I watched the full video, and at the start I was thinking, damn this guy with this strategy must have at least 3LP uniques, however at the end when you show us your gear .... pretty meh... 1 LP uniques and yellow ring.....kind of clickbait
Hey, sorry if you felt that way. At the time of the video I was convinced this is the best way to farm items. I just recently pushed to 1.1k corruption and while I now think higher corruption is very beneficial, I still stand by the statement that this is the best strategy to get good loot at whatever the corruption cap of your build is. Keep in mind I started playing LE only a day after the 1.0 release so I am still learning myself. That being said sacrificing damage and defense for speed in LE isn't too great imo, thus I'd advice to try and push at least 900 corruption because based on my experience that's when you start getting consistently better rewards. While you found this video kind of clickbait I still hope there was at least something beneficial for you in there and not a complete waste of time.
Bro, how can you make a video titled "do this if you want good loot" without getting at least 100mln from that loot?!... Trust me, you can't be more far from knowing what "good loot" really is.
