Maybe Baloo in this show...is the 13th descendant of Baloo from the Jungle Book..?? Idk, that'd make a /little/ more sense I think. Since this Baloo seems to forget all about Mowgli and stuff..
Either that or TaleSpin takes place in an AU (alternate universe) where only anthropomorphic animals exist, kind of like Disney's take on Robin Hood.
CHADDDDD! This is such an amazing conspiracy! Thanks for filling in for me this week! I'm glad you couldn't hear me cracking up in the background and I'm happy I could help you pronounce Shere Khan correctly.
emilythebrave Emily, will you be in the next episode? :)
You should do the theory about Dexter's Rude Removal.
James Waterson I will! The next episode is Dexter's Lab!
Emily ! I got a thury .. in fairy odd parents season 7 episode 14 : poltergeeks
Timmy's parents wanted to become ghost hunters
So they began to hunt Timmy's fairys
But there was a camputer says
Wanted poster and danny phantom was in it
Does that mean Timmy and danny lives in the same WORLD ! What do you think XD
MYSTERY GAMES what is your point
Here is my own theory: What if Alvin and the Chipmunks were actually ghosts of kids who died.
Alvin was the rambunctious one of the triplets
Simon was the smart one of the triplets
Theodore was the fat funny and cute one of the triplets.
One Day when their dad, Dave Seville, was driving them to their choir program, a drunk driver, Ian (from the live action movie), crashed into their car, killing the three boys.
At their funeral, three chipmunks climbed onto the casket, looked at the three dead bodies, and comforted them.
What do you think of my theory? Do an episode of Cartoon Conspiracy on it.
It's awesome, but the chipmunk part doesn't ale enough since. Maybe tweak that part, and it'll be good.
Nice job
Nice theory just fix the part about the chipmunk and casket part.
More childhood scarring
The spelling of the title is intentional. It's a pun. The term "tailspin" does mean all those things and that's a reference to the show's subject matter (animals and planes) but the reason it's "tale" is because the stories are classic adventure stories in a classic adventure setting so they're spinning tales of adventure so to speak. So the phrase "tale spin" kind of makes sense too. Tales are being spun. Classic stories we all know. So that's what it means. It's actually pretty clever. Nobody else seems to get the joke though.
yup...lol
It's always bothered me that so many people don't get it or think it's a misspelling. It's so obvious to me, even when I was a kid I got it.
Please do the Dora theory next!
It is believed that the Nick Jr. star, Dora the Explorer, has Down Syndrome, and that she also has hydrocephalus, which explains her uniquely large head. Dora's also believed to speak about three times louder than the other characters in the series, and that because of her mental disability, she has to be constantly reminded by the Map about where they would be going on their journey. Boots is actually her guiding animal, and the yellow bracelet on Dora's wrist is actually a tracking device that serves as a means of finding her if she ever got lost.
Sky surfing is cool, but I don't think its possible. Kit would just be dragged from the rope as fast as Baloo would be going. He'd have to have the lower legs of a titan to stay up.
Perhaps titan legs are an evolutionary trait of these anthropomorphic bears? Maybe they're actually like animatronics that became sentient and it's like a Skynet takeover, except they're robot bears and monkeys instead of terminators.
Ed Burdick Five Nights At Freddys, talespin and jungle book.
gg
***** I was thinking more like Disney animatronics like the Country Bears, but I guess that other one works too.
ye m80, forgot about the country bears.
Ed Burdick Oh and that one episode of Gravity Falls, those evil animatronic things.
Maybe it explains why the air pirates are mostly dogs. They are former pets of humans.
You might just be on to something there
lol
Wow...Emily looks so different with a beard.
lol, that funny!
His name is Chad -_-
I guess its a joke
joshd415 It is a joke, smart one.
XD Good one!!
-_- rlly dude rlly
Bears are scary.
5/5 bear claws for Chad.
Like the bear claws I can eat? I'm down.
If the characters from Tale Spin and Jungle Book look exactly alike and have identical names then I say it deserves four out of five red fires. Personally I've never seen Tale Spin but based on what you say d about it it seems pretty plausible.
Great episode, Chad. This was a really well though out theory, and I could easily see it in like a comic book prequel/origin arc to make it canon. Although it's disproved by behind the scenes stuff, it actually seems like a plausible origin, and I actually really like it, so I'd give it a 3.5. I actually want to give it a 4 or higher, but it's already technically been disproved. Get to writing that origin comic to make this legit, Chad.
Pretty interesting, and would make a lot of sense with what the show presented. Though I think that maybe the uprising didn't happen right away.
A) The Louie references that he wants to '...be a man now, man-cub, and stroll right into town, and be just like the other men...', which could imply that he bears no ill will towards humans, he just wants to be like them, if he were to get fire, and begin helping animals climb the social standings to live alongside humans, this would explain how animals learned to do things like fly planes, and the other things we see them do in the show.
B) Going back to your point with the name, and the fact that the 'Great War' was so long ago. I personally wouldn't put it past Louie and Sher Khan to name their kids after themselves, and for that narcissism to carry over to the next generation, while Baloo might would have a similar (albeit a lot more lovable) personality and inclination to name descendants after himself. It's also worth note that most of the characters (save a few) have much more human characteristics then what their Jungle Book counter parts do. For instance, JB Baloo in the movie has claws while TS Baloo in the show has fingers, and TS Sher Khan has a much more human build that what would be possible for his JB counterpart to have if stood upright. Perhaps prior, there was some cross species breeding?
C) The Great War. This is of course providing that it was a war between humans and animals that would lead to the near, if not complete annihilation of the human race (wow, that sounds a lot darker then it did in my head), then I think I could give a valid cause for it. It would almost mirror America's Civil Rights Movements in the time of Martin Luther King Jr. with a large amount of mistreatment of the animal/possibly animal-human hybrids, leading for them volleying for more rights, the entire world a powder keg just waiting for a spark, Sher Khan (who even with his hatred of humans would still likely have offsprings with one just to keep himself and his descendants at the top of the food chain) could possibly be the source of this spark, with two ways to light it. 1. Killing a high ranking human, or 2. Killing a animal/animal-human hybrid civil rights figure (possibly Bagheera or one of his decendents, which would explain his absence and I think would fit the panther's personality nicely). Either of these two would not be past Khan, and, if he were to have and teach his children similar thinking, which I'm sure he would, could easily be suspected of his children.
But that's just my thoughts.
Talking about disney.
What about that theory that says that Mufasa is the evil brother?
this is one of the most plausible theories i've ever seen and thank god its not about acid trips, schizophrenia,or drug abuse or about all the main characters being dead or comatose because there are way to many theories like that and the only two theories more plausible that i can remember is the rick and morty and the spongbob theory
If you've seen the Robot Chicken sketch, "The Baloo Identity", that show's creators have the opposite theory that you do; that sketch implies that the events of "TaleSpin" take place before the events of "The Jungle Book", and that Baloo was a bush pilot before he became a bear in the jungle.
Plot holes in the theory.
I think The Great War is supposed to be a reference to WW1. WW1 was called "The Great War" before WW2 happened, and it's heavily implied Talespin takes place before the 50's (There's an episode where they comment on the ridiculousness of a mad doctor's idea to create television). In the comic crossover "Legend of the Chaos God" it's even revealed Talespin takes place 20 years before Ducktales takes place.
Furthermore, what about the episodes showing the animals who don't behave like humans? Sure, some of them are fictional, but despite us seeing anthropomorphic dogs and cats, we see regular dogs and cats in the show, as well.
There is also some talk in the show of anthropomorphic animals who lived thousands of years ago, and physical evidence to prove they existed (EX the pyramid that was accidentally built upside-down)
I find it more likely that Talespin is an alternate universe.
10/10 Chad Theory Again!
Chad is such a bae....
CartoonHangover Agreed
Stop talking to yourself +channelfrederator +cartoonhangover
THIS COMMENT IS A YEAR (or two) LATE PEOPLE
yeah. They should have made another one about that Baloo and his bear friends are really Russian bears living under the oppression realm of communist Thembra and that the air pirates are former aristocracy.
I always thought that TaleSpin was the story of the passed down versions of Mowgli remembering his childhood. He always loved Baloo and Bagera, always feared SherKhan and so he would tell his children his history. It became family folktales, then modernized to family fun for the grandkids. Making King Louis more silly, Baloo the hero and SherKhan now dangerous in evil corporations. He was a politician/corrupt and fear monger.
Considering how the plot was put together in the first place, that means there's not canonical history set in stone, aside from that vague yet menacing Great War. So, your theory could very well fit into the story without ruining ANYTHING.
four and a half sky surfboards out of five.
Funny During a flash back during the Great War pilot Joe McGee in the episode The Old Man and the Sea Duck, Joe in his younger years being awarded a medal for saving a plane crew is photographed by humans. Seriously pause the scene and check it out for yourself.
I love this channel you guys make my day happier ^^
Awwww that's awesome to hear!
ChannelFrederator first time i have seen anyone in a big channel reply to a comment that doesnt have lots of likes, and it is awesome.
+ChannelFrederator I like this channel please do 107 more facts about my little pony
In Batman's voice "WHERE IS SHE!!!"
Or in Catbug's voice "WHO IS THIS MAN?" REBECCCCAAAAAA! DramaBug - Bravest Warriors (Minisode 2) on Cartoon Hangover
8.5/10 for creativity.
6/10 for plausibility.
9/10 for enjoyability.
10/10 for the Bear Warrior that is our deity.
(also is Baloo who the Bear Warrior wears?)
1:50 If I remember properly every time one of Kahn's pilots are depicted they look like Bagheera.
the german version of the show is actually called
"captain Baloo und seine tollkühne Crew"
which translates to "captain baloo and his daredevil crew"
Gia Prima, Louie Prima's widow, filed a complaint to the Disney Company for impersonation of her husband's voice. Jim Cummings does a perfect rendition of Louie. Due to this, it's why King Louie does not appear in The Jungle Book 2. Not the sweetest story I've ever heard.
Honestly there could/should be/probably is a theory where Talespin and Zootopia take place in the same universe
Just a little FYI, when Baloo says The Great War, he's actually talking about the First World War. The show Talespin takes place approximately in the year 1939, which was 20 years after WWI ended, like Baloo said. Also, I got the Crepe Suzette joke when I was kid.
Man, I love Talespin. Probably because I love pulp adventure. I didn't appeciate the show as much when I was a kid, but as an adult its my favorite of the Disney Afternnoon bunch.
Hey, did you know they actually named the country Cape Suzette is part of? Its called Usland.
Why is that interesting? Besides it being a play on 'US'. As in United States?
Because Usland is locked in a coldwar with Thembria.
IE: Us vs Them
CHAD!!! I know it's emily's show and I enjoy her as host but it's great to see Chad on screen again. (Used to watch Friendzone and his other polaris shows)
Why is this video so ridiculously out of sync?
Ikr?!?!
I'll give you... 2.5 Bahgeera's out of 5. It is a rather interesting thought.
While the character Bahgeera isn't directly involved in the series, I think he is symbolized by the fact that all of the military pilots for Cape Suzette, are in fact, panthers.
There's more info as well. Don Karnage, Colonel Spigot, Kit, Louie, and Rebecca are all derived from human characters. While I'm on the subject, Don Karnage and Megavolt go together like pie crust and filling. Both have real sword skills. Both came along in the '90s. Both were voiced by Scorpios. And most of all, both wear pants amid many foes who don't.
When i was a child I often thought that the Jungle Book charecters looked too familiar to the Tale Spin sieries that I thought they were just charecters translated in a new world/dimension. I believe your theory holds up 4 Baloos!!!
There's this really epic live action remake of The Jungle Book coming out sometime this year. It looks incredible!
Disney + Marvel need to reboot this as a gritty animated movie for the cinema with that conspiracy
I like it. It makes sense that all the characters have new roles.
Wow the theory you thought of on the fly makes more sense than most of the other theories on here! 4/5 PACKS OF AWESOME SAUCE!
Bagheera is in plunder and lightning I think
I can't believe that some people COME UP with these theories. I could maybe make a connection or two, but that's it😂 nice job Chad!
It’s a Different Cartoon Universe like Teenage mutant ninja turtles,Pokemon,Sonic the hedgehog or scooby doo.
Ah, Crepe Suzette, the play on the dessert known as Crepe Suzette.
God dammit, now I have the Talespin theme song stuck in my head...
The reason it was named TALEspin is becase it was it was orginially planned as a show centering around Launchpad McQuack from Duck TALES. When they changed their minds last minute they never bothered changing the name of the show.
I give your theory 3 "Sea Ducks" out of 5 good work Chad.
2:46 Boy, even in the 90's people shit their pants when they saw terrorism in a movie, show, etc,.. 0_0 I thought that was a 2000's-thing.
I mean, I know we should ALWAYS be concerned of terrorism, but considering that this was during the pre-9/11 days and people didn't put tons of thought into it, I'm just somewhat surprised.
Well, I gotta rate this theory- Wait! I just remembered something! In the beginning of Zootopia, we see a tiger say that he wants to be a businessman when he grows up. ???
That's a very good theory and good thing it isn't as dark as the other Disney Fans theory for diffrent movies out there ( Especially the Recess one ) .
Conspiracy:
Dexter's lab is Big Bang Theory as little kids.
I give it three and a half business tigers out of 5!
I got a theory about Talespin. Two words. Alternate timeline.
I rate it: 4 out of 5 air pirates
Well, this is the first time I've ever heard of TaleSpin. But maybe 4 elephants out of 5
Incredible, 5 scary bears out of 5.
🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻
What if the "incorrect" spelling of 'tail' in "TaleSpin" is a reference to the fact that the original story (or tale) of Baloo and company from the Jungle Book was changed/modified? Just a thought...
Germany never banned any episode. I watched both many times. Loved this show as a kid. :D
I realy like the robot chiken conspiracy, wich is the reverse of this one;talespin took place before jungle book and Baloo had his memory ereased total recall style. He used to be the first smart bear capable of flying a plane.
As for Bagheera we keep seeing panther men walking around as either pilots or high ranking employee Kahn industries he might have had large family.
5 out of 5 Theory
3 out of 5 Evidence
Overall a great idea and I certainly want to look for more connections between the two.
I give it 4 out of 5 hypnotized Mowglies
My theory is that TaleSpin, Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers and Dark Wing Duck all happen in the same world and time line, so the could all be part of the same uprising. But if King Like lead it why is he just at a bar and not king? Maybe it works better if Kahn lead the uprising, and also put in some time for Tale Spin to be next Gen to Jungle Book. Also are all Disney Afternoon shows in the same world? Or just all animal ones in one world and all human shows in a second? We know cross covers did happen.
I actually like this one a lot. I was going to say it isn't possible because it's about all the same characters from Jungle Book and how they couldn't evolve that rapidly on their own. But if Baloo in this show is actually the 13th in his family, while still a short time evolutionary-wise, it lends more credence to the theory if we think they are all descendants of the JB characters.
I'd give it a 4/5 because of that!
I always thought Tale spin was a animators LSD fueled fever dream. Good to see I was pretty close.
Ah, that bear at the end scared me!
I LOVE The Jungle Book!!!! It's my favorite movie of all time!!!
i'd give this conspiracy a solid 5 parcels, it was pretty good nice work
5 solid parcels*
The Great War is more likely a reference to the First World War, so it's most likely an alternative Earth, circa 1938 (assuming that we're going from the armistice, rather than the treaty of Versailles), where other mammals are the dominant species.
Not bad. But allow me to one up your Disney Afternoon Conspiracy with another:
That there is a parallel universe consisting of Toons!
If you notice, most Disney talking animal shows generally land in 1 of 2 universes. One where animals walk & talk like people & one where talking animals are viewed as regular animals that we as humans may or may not be able to understand.
In DuckTales (& the spinoff Darkwing Duck) you'll note that, like the classic Duck comics, there are no humans. Where humans normally would be you have dogs like the Beagle Boys.
Other shows like Chip n Dale's Rescue Rangers have humans. But with rare exception humans can't understand what these guys say. They are mere animals. Pluto instead of Goofy.
In the Darkwing Duck episode "Twitching Channels" Darkwing gets transported by accident to the "human world" where he discovers a cartoon show about him. Come to find out the show creator had a device that could listen in on Darkwing's world & dictated his adventures to scripts. After DW's return the device breaks allowing the show creator's assistant to listen in on the Rescue Rangers saying it would be a great show (now breaking the human/animal speech barrier in our world).
That's great, you may think, but what about something like Quack Pack? It continued Donald's DuckTales navy storyline (barely) but involved humans!
Ignoring the desire to delete this show from memory like Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain (which totally destroys the Tiny Toons/Animanics/P&B timeline btw) consider that the show Bonkers took place before QuackPack.
In Bonkers, a walking talking Bobcat interacts with humans & is called a Toon. Also in Bonkers, he had interactions with Donald Duck & Darkwing. 2 characters who belong to a non human universe!
So what happened? Why is Bonkers able to talk & have a job like the Duckverse yet have humans around (& subsequently QuackPack)? Why are Donald, DW & others walking around the human world?
In the DW episode "A Star is Scorned," DW is now seen as an actor for Dizzy studios working with the same humans from twitching channels.
The theory? In DW's quest to promote his own fame he reopened the barrier between the universes & started the tradition of (now called) toons working in cartoons in the human world.
I've even read theories that state that DW episode can also be used to link the Warner Brothers & Disney Toons together in this scenario because the studio guard in DW looks a bit like Ralph the Guard from Tiny Toons & Animaniacs. Thus (except for a historically correct timeline) making movies like Space Jam & Who Framed a Roger Rabbit a reality.
Technically it doesn't pan out but very fun to think about
Good theory, but these may just be common names, and the characters descendants of those who actually participated in the uprising. This is because I prefer to think of the Louie who won the war as having run the world for a while, and it's only a descendant than just runs a bar.
this theory is pretty good and i think it deserves 4 stars :)
dont know if its just me but the sound is not synced with the video
This is legit the best channel I have EVER watched... Love you guys and what you are doing, you are the best, keep making me HAPPEH!!!!😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝
1:25 I'm a kid and I appreciate that
Considering the time setting (the 1920's|1930's), the ''Great War'' is more likely WWI. This theory give sens to the serie concept thought. And considering than the Jungle Book is setted in the 19th century, the chronology would work.
I have a Frozen/Tangled conspiracy: Flinn Rider and Repusel are Elsa and Anna's parents.
10 outta 10 Chad. Bears are the number one threat to America.
That is an interesting theory. I do think it might be possible. Though maybe set a little more in the future past Jungle Book.
Interesting theory Chad! However I'd have to give this maybe 4 out of 5 bear paws
I give it a 4 because the character animation is solid and it was stated by the creator of talespin.
Turns out there are numerous reasons why TaleSpin cannot take place in the same continuity as the Jungle Book. For one thing, TaleSpin Baloo has hands while Jungle Book Baloo has claws. They just can't be the same bear.
World War I was called "the great war" before World War II, so all that tells us is that Talespin takes place between 1918 and 1939.
I'd give it an 8/10. Normally a 7/10, but it reminds me of Animal Farm... which is awesome... so you get that extra point...
What actually did happen to Bagheera in Talespin ? He was my favourite character when watching the the jungle book and played a big part in the film... so why did they leave him out ? Someone needs to make a theory about Bagheera disappearance
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAD
I love the idea of this theory! Despite what the creators said, I think this makes a LOT of sense :)
There is a theory about SpongeBob SquarePants that is this: What if SpongeBob was actually a tampon?
i give this theory 3 Hawaiian shirts out of 5
um... why is jetsons & flintstones shown as the previous episode? That's episode 6 and this is 32......... what happened?
To rate this, there are two rules to follow: #1: Most theories are obviously false so it will not be judged based on if its actually true but rather how it could be possible #2 if a theory is true it would be a 5 automatically, however they are an exception! So in other words based on evidence I give it 4 bananas!
why is the sound and video not in sync?
I love it! It is such a good conspiracy that I will spread it around.
what does cannon mean like when he said it in the theory
This Theory was really interesting
Pretty good because in the book jungle book by Rudyard Kipling Mowgli leads an animal uprising that kills the humans in the neighboring town
Maybe majira was killed defending the humans or something like that
Five pineapple slices on your face out of five.
Chad, I like to imagine you quit Polaris because celebrating your birthday so often created a disruption in the flow of time, a severe workplace hazard.
Pretty solid
I give this theory a 5 out of 5 because it could be likely cannon. I'm pretty sure humans aren't seen in TaleSpin and it's literally. only. ANIMALS!
Actually Tale Spin takes place in a furry version of the 1930's. The Great War was the name of WWI before WWII broke out. The hostile country Thembria is a parody of various totalitarian countries of that time period.
Because of the info at the end, I give this 1 missing panther out of 5.
