I am in the same boat as you when it comes to a new book. I end up falling in love with the world so much that I want to stay in it and keep writing more and more and a stand alone ends up becoming multi book series that never gets done. I have all the faith in the world in you! You're so talented and I love reading your works!

It sucks! If I could make a career out of creating universes and populating them with characters, I’d be rich, but actually having to write the story? And FINISH?? Ugh! But omg thank you so much 😭 💖💖

Lover that con story, remember my first one too! My big highlight of the year was a big concert for fav band for their 20 years and writing and everything else went well too!

Aww thanks for the shoutout, you’re the best and I’m glad that we were able to bond at the con and have grown closer ❤
Don’t beat yourself up, you accomplished a lot this year! I’m also a hypocrite because I was thinking about making a goals video myself and was going to beat myself up for not accomplishing much lol we’re our own worst critics.

SAME 💖 It was so fun!
Maybe it’s just human nature to ignore the good and focus on the bad, maybe we’re actually doing amazing and we just don’t see it! 😂

Sorry didn't watch earlier I have just surfaced from being consumed by a book.
Ok now I'm do glad you have found happiness in writing smut because as I have been saying "I like writing smexy scenes so I'm leaning into it." What I have read of your spice it is hot 🥵 so go for it I'm looking forward forward to reading it. Let the smut train ride on authortube.

DON'T APOLOGIZE AT ALL. I'm terribly behind on everything omg--my YT watch later is the stuff of nightmares at the moment lol. And thank you so much ugh. It really felt kind of... I don't know, just weird to accept that writing smut is what's fun to me. Probably because so many people are like, "you write WHAT??? ahahaha!" like it's such a joke that a woman can enjoy things like that. But I'm growing more and more proud of it every day--like you said, let the smut train ride bay-bee!

You know, finishing stories and getting them published doesn't sound like a failure. Just with this you are more successful than many other writers.
And don't beat yourself up with figuring out YA writing is not your thing even if you like reading it. It was something you needed to learn and now you know it. I do understand it can feel embarrassing when you are in the middle of it, but looking at it from the outside as somebody who follows you on RUclips it doesn't seem embarrassing at all from this perspective. It's just something you figured out and learned about your writing.

Wow, I don't even know what to say--your comment came at a time when I really needed it! I was so busy beating myself up that I never stopped to consider whether it was even worth beating myself up over it. It's funny because I'm not normally a perfectionist, but when it comes to my writing, I expect myself to just wake up one day and have everything flawlessly figured out--but that's not realistic or even human. I have to remember that everyone's just learning and growing all the time.
Thank you SO much. This means a lot to me and it's just the pick-me-up I needed. Thank you! 💖
