As you mentioned the important features that the G9ii gave you, I think you might have forgotten the fact that it does 120fps 4k, a big deal when you have the S5ii- its only real weakness is slow-mo. The big question is what do you use for travel because Panasonic is really lacking in this regard now, other than the G100D (a release of a 3 year old camera), there's nothing new and modern. Recently, I've got back into camcorders and I'm quite enjoying the HC-VX980.
Thank you. As amazing as it is, 4K 120p isn’t something I need. For travel I would take the GH5 II, or I’m thinking of buying again the G80, or even the Olympus EM1 Mark II. Camcorder?? For travel?
@@madsciencefilmsYes, the camcorder is for travel. I'm pairing it with a GX800, mainly for photos. A GH5 II is a one-and-done setup if slowmo isn't your thing.
