SO CUTE! Prairie Dogs of the Badlands - Theodore Roosevelt National Park Prairie Dog Town

We go out West to go hiking the badlands of North Dakota at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The North Dakota Badlands are a beautiful landscape with the world's cutest animals, including prairie dogs. One of my favorite things on this trip was the Theodore Roosevelt National Park prairie dog town in the TDNP Northern Unit. This short hike was accessed off the Theodore Roosevelt National Park Northern Unit Scenic Drive via the Buckhorn trail. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park Northern Unit prairie dogs are so adorable. These prairie dogs are more tame than those found directly off the scenic drive, and it is worth the short hike to go see them. The landscape of the badlands offer a unique habitat for the prairie dogs who inhabit the vast badlands of North Dakota. The badlands off much open prairie as well as a variety of hardy plants that prairie dogs love. I hope you enjoy these cute animals as much as I did.
