Cool hike. The landscape is so unique and beautiful. Similar to central Utah near Capitol Reef NP. Now that was a bench with a view. Great place for a snack! Awesome hike. Take care.

This was so nice. I always look forward to your videos and you gave good advice about the bison. Loved seeing the yellow flowers there and I think you focused in on a footprint which I'm presuming was a bison one because there was evidence of bison you said? Your tent i guess was overlooking that part where the sun was setting? And it was beautiful at the river bend overlook. Loved this and the music was perfect. Have a great weekend ~ Anna

I was really pleasantly surprised with this park, overall, but this trail was particularly cool. It was neat to see how different the vegetation was on the cooler, shadier north-facing slopes vs. the more exposed south-facing slopes... That would be incredible to see a bison. Enjoyed the info you provided in the beginning. I never knew there were cacti in North Dakota. Very beautiful scenery. My personal favorite shot was at 4:55 but also really enjoyed the close up shots. Thanks for sharing your adventures and keep up the great work!
I saw a few bison while I was in the park, including one that I followed (from a distance) up the main road through the North Unit! I was also a bit surprised by the cacti... I learned that there are four varieties of cacti that grow in the park. Glad you enjoyed the bison info and the scenery!
