But I've been sick since I entered in University, where I studied Journalism, Public Relations Management and Creative Advertisement. Even ill, I graduated with these three Majors and a Masters in Communication Sciences in Portugal. Then I went to London with nothing but "a pocket full of dreams"... But my mental health got even worse. We latins are used to the sunshine and long days full of light, and that didn't help at all, dear. Now, I'm living with a hard diagnosis that killed all my dreams. I live in a very remote place in the countryside, with my parents that do not understand fully what I go through every day, with no public transports or a car to just simply leave the property. I left London ten years ago, and as a Creative (a writer), I miss deeply all the places I could go where Art was my refuge, my inspiration and I could be myself anonymously, you know? I love Zara, but even there I only by one piece per year. To be totally honest, I don't work, 'cause I can't and cause there's no opportunities here with my financial, social and family (at large) context. Do not pity me 💞 as I'm doing my best even if I often worry about the future in this "God" forsaken place. Because it's normal to worry about the future. Around me there's success... My friends, cousins and peers and that's not so easy. But life goes on, one day at a time. Living and accepting what I have now. Because once I did have a better life. And I made it myself grabbing every opportunity. Just like you. So, now I buy Lefties, She In, Cider... Almost everything online, for the reasons I already told you. I hope this message gets eyed by people with mental illness that do not have the assistance that they deserve from the Government System and nonetheless keep looking for their place in life.
