Everyone seems to be taking a shot at Vince Russo these days and he will have none of it! The former WWE head writer chats with current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and host Dr. Chris Featherstone, alleging that Jake Roberts just wants to get over with the cool kids. Also, he doesn't like Christopher Daniels either. Check out this edition of The Wrestling Outlaws for a fired-up Vince Russo.

Russo is spot on here..
As a returning fan who had no idea who Russo was because I was a little kid during the attitude era, i had to check out the "horrible guy who ruined wrestling" for myself. Because in every other wrestling video on youtube, its open season on Vince Russo, there is nothing insulting you can say about him that wouldnt get massive upvotes and likes. And to no surprise, Vince Russo turns out to be more real honest and authentic than 90% of the wrestling youtube channels. So by hating on Vince Russo CONSTANTLY, i looked him up and became a fan because he wasnt what every mark youtube channel says he is. AND he isnt just a dumb fan, he has actual experience working in the industry at the highest levels.
I totally agree and same here.
I didn't agree with all of Russos ideas but thats with anyone. I didn't like all what WCW was doing pre nWo or all of WWF in 94-96. Facts are he did numbers and moments people still to this DAY would talk about no matter die hard or casual, its memorable and the ideas fit the times. To constantly crap on him is lame imo. Salute to Russo and others who changed the game and made great weekly TV 💯

I always find it funny how people constantly say how irrelevant Vince Russo is yet they never shut up about him. If he truly was irrelevant nobody would even bring up his name.
Because they had to work with him. If you've ever had to do that shit (work like as in a job, or be coworkers or have to work under someone who is a total dumb fuck) you'd know why they talk about his ass 😂. Shit is fucking infuriating to have to hold that shit in and the only thing you can do is look back on it and laugh and make fun of them.
@@-Trauma. that's a terrible argument. Because a lot of podcasters who do interviews with wrestling personalities and who haven't worked with him bring up Vince Russo constantly. It has become the thing to do and gets done for clout. And how can someone be this" dumb f---" as you say but generated the highest ratings in the history of wrestling. That's a dumb statement.

He took bischoffs spot after Eric had already ran wcw into the ground and actually increased the ratings even though a lot of the locker room was against him due to politics. Wrote for TNA during their best years.
Yeah, we all know people who have worked with us that we outshined and they hated it. So you’re right, it does make sense.

At this point, the WWE needs to build a real, physical Hall of Fame just to stop people from roasting them
Eight million people were watching because WWE had the biggest collection of megastars the business has ever seen, or ever will see. All of them peaked at virtually the same time. With the exception of Kane, all of them were established before Russo got there, and it is widely known that Jim Cornette had a big part in creating Kane. Russo was just in the right place at the right time. He loves to take credit for the Attitude Era, and claims that his ideas are what created it. If that is true, then why couldn't he replicate it in WCW or TNA? His great ideas killed WCW, and nearly took TNA out. TNA is still trying to fix the damage 20 years later.

Vince was a big part of the attitude ERA and I for one loved the silly ass skits they had back in the day.
Jake is just bitter. Also I think it’s disgusting how he and dibiase talk shit constantly about ultimate warrior a guy who’s dead, I don’t respect that.
everybody is on that bandwagon. He was a two move guy who didn't know what he was doing. He got the World title, they didn't. Not my opinion just the way it is being portrayed.
It’s no different than it is with Cornette. I have no doubt that his hatred for Russo is legit, but if you think he’s not constantly trashing him on his podcast just to get over with the minions who hang on his every word then you need to get a clue. Seriously, when is the last time Cornette said anything about Russo that we haven’t heard at least a hundred times?

What's crazy is i wasn't a Russo fan growing up. I was just pretty much going off of what others would say! I was familiar with some of your work and stuff but I wasn't as educated pre internet i suppose! Long story short don't listen to people and judge someone by opinions from people. I seen a video Russo did with Chyna and after Chyna passed away and have been a fan every since. No G-D words , Batman tattoo and a family guy what's not to like💪🏻👍🏻

My dead dog had better ideas than Vince Russo. How is Jake wrong. He is entitled to his opinion. Russo says alot of dumb things and wrong things. He had more bad storylines than he did good ones. He is responsible for the birth of a hand isn't he? He did alot of dumb things with WCW and TNA. He actually got banned by the network they were on from working for TNA. Jake is a legend. He has had his problems and he has been open about them.
