This is a bad take by Tommy. He is pretty much saying the booking of the feud doesn't matter because he knows the match will be good. That's AEW in a nutshell, and it is why everything in that company has lost its luster.
You're blinded by bias. Tommy is saying one botch doesn't blow the whole spot, and that it shouldn't take away from Mercedes and Shida's match prior to Britt coming out.

Say what you want about Mercedes, but at least she is trying to make something out of this garbage by showing emotion and playing a character. Britt obviously doesn't care and is mailing in what should be her biggest feud. Right now, this is all a disaster because of Britt and more importantly, Tony Khan.

Sasha Banks used to be my fav in WWE. This Mone character is so Cruella Cringe. Liv & Rhea have taken her spot as my favs. I like Britt but this is not grabbing me & it really should. Idk what to say anymore. Its definitely lost its luster
