Coming from a mirrorless video shooting background footage looks stable as. Rolling shutter is noticeable only when you flipped the camera around... Audio is improved however the wind noise is a little distracting but amazing that it picks up the surrounding noise quite well. None the less I am hugely surprised at the video quality of this pocket video camera! Thanks for sharing!

Hey man, did you do any post processing ? What were your settings like if you used manual ?
No post processing and it was on full automatic on HDR mode. 2.7k 30fps

Estoy en dudas de comprar la pocket 2 ,no sé que tipo de uso le has dado vos .Mí realidad es que mí límite económico no me permite comprar un iPhone 12 pro Max .El pocket 2 es una cámara que le llega a competir y su costo es la tercera parte.El uso que le daría es instagram storys ,reels ,fotos .Crees que va bien con ese uso ?

Yo te digo que le compite bastante bien.
Yo he comprado el combo por la lente y el micrófono, pero uso nomás la lente.
Para ver el uso que le doy, te invito a sumarte a mi canal de Martín Recorre, allí verás mis recorridos que hago por las calles filmando con la Pocket 2.
Te digo más, he comprobado que sirve y mucho la pocket 2 para varias horas de filmación. Dji ya me tendría que enviar la nueva dji action 2 por la buena propaganda que le hago con mis videos, ya que mucha gente me pregunta por la calidad buena que tienen las imágenes. I had my compensation set at 50hz, it’s possible 60hz could fix that

I just got a Pocket 2, and I swear i can't tell the diff between so called HDR and normal, and if you need a bit more punch, just add a notch or two in post. most HDR on my cameras really doesn't do all that much, supposedly more detail in shadows, but for Pocket? i don't see it as much of a wow factor at all, in fact bit of a disappointment, but hey, for $350? hell of a camera.
I’m starting to like the look of the original pocket more than the pocket 2
I was walking yesterday with the pocket 2 and the sky was so blown out because I was walking in shadow 😞
So HDR mode does seem to help but I almost can’t deal with the auto settings 40k 30p
@@CREATIVEreviews oh. big aperture change suddendly. yep. well...one thing you need which i'm about to get is a set of ND filters for the Pocket. then you'll get the HDR look in 4k, and you can determine how much "HDR" you want. as for original Pocket, I never got one The 2 is my intro to this thing. But hell the Pocket 1 is only $250 now, so no big deal. have them both

Похоже апскейл с 2.7к до 4 к. Картинка в тенях практически чёрная, в редакторе не вытянуть.

Unlike Gopro this footage you can tell you are walking with slight jump in the image
It's him. It doesn't jump around like that when i walk with it. He's walking like a New Yorker, not like a videographer lol

Is this better than a Canon 80D video.
Pocket 2 can do 4K so better resolution. I like the stability more on the DJI. I like canon’s color science look more.
Wish they could get rid of the up and down movement.
Me too but it’s impossible unless you add a very large adapter right now
Maybe they could produce a version with a springy head in the future
At that point, you’d need a 4 axis gimbal. DJI Released a cinema camera that has 4 axis, that gets rid of the walking affect.
Is this video uploaded in HDR format? Cos I don't see HDR in the quality selection.

@@CREATIVEreviews I have try to upload a HDR video taken by osmo pocket 2, but the video was not recognised as a HDR video. Why is it so?
RUclips hdr is finicky and it’s not an option to upload via iPhone (right now)

Seems like iphone12promax with its sensor shift is more stable even without gimbal.
@@qtben17 maybe, but indoors and night time the iPhone quality falls horribly due to digital artificial stabilization generating lots of motion blur and softness, meanwhile Pocket 2 stabilization is amazing even in night low light scenarios thanks to the 3 axis real stabilization.

@@CREATIVEreviews well it’s not only this video but other DJI 2 videos that say HDR…but I see some other HDR videos shot with different cameras that really glow….why is it just the pocket osmo 2 camera that gets compressed differently?
The hdr must not do well with RUclips’s compression. 🤷♂️
@@CREATIVEreviews I actually just checked & this video is not in HDR….I clicked on quality settings for this video & it’s no HDR….that happened to me once…I recorded in HDR & after it finished rendering it still didn’t have HDR….but I did a video driving from Stockton to Chico California & it’s in HDR….however that video took a month before HDR was applied to it…I would check daily & thought I done something wrong but after 4 to 5 weeks I clicked the quality settings on that video & to my surprise HDR was added.

Why is your video bouncing up and down? This should not happen on a gimbal enabled device!
This is inherent with every gimbal. Without a z-axis there is no way to absorb footsteps.

The up and down bouncing is more apparent when the video is cropped in (as it does in HDR mode). The even more wide-angle lens on the pocket 2 minimizes the up and down while in normal video mode.
@@CREATIVEreviews Thanks! I was wondering if that was an artifact of the HDR mode.... I haven't noticed that bounce as much in any of the other, many vids I've watched on RUclips.... I assume the HDR can be turned off?
Yes the HDR is a feature you can enable. After using it for a little, I would recommend never using it. It’s not worth the crop and it looks weird to my eyes
The pocket 2 and original pocket are my favorite portable video cameras
but the iPhone HDR has better quality on it than any camera ive seen in person or online
That’s true. The HDR on the DJI 2 isn’t worth it

it has better quality, but it still has the lens flare/ghosting issue, so the iphone ruins the footage for me.
