The fact that Konami opted to not use this track in favor of Reincarnated Soul is just criminal in my honest opinion. This actually fits the stage much better and helps get us players amped up for the adventure we're about about embark as we guide Christopher through Dracula's Castle. Nice job with the Hack.

I think they might be sparing this game for a potential Castlevania DS Collection. For the Anniversary Collection they included Kid Dracula as the odd ball pick, considering every other game in that collection was a Classicvania with tough platforming and a very serious aesthetic, not to mention they had all released internationally up to that point except Kid Dracula itself. In the Advance Collection there was Dracula X, which was definitely the black sheep since every other game was a Metroidvania from the early 2000s. For a potential DS collection with Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia, I'd say The Adventure Rebirth fits well with the collection as the unique title in the bundle. All games from the late 2000s from Nintendo hardware(The DS and the Wii respectively) , however one is a little different to set it apart from the others. Not only that but considering this game has never been rereleased before despite it being a solid Classicvania and just being super underrated in general I'd say the game is good candidate as the different pick from the DS-Vanias.

I completely understand that. But I will say its a good start. I didn't even think it was possible to modify a Nintendo Wii Ware title. I say go for it if you want to start again. But I understand if its a bit taxing.

Also, i wish some of the levels themselves resembled the settings of the og, and where are the ropes? I can't be too critical because we basically got a brand new classic experience, but if they felt the need to overhaul the game this much maybe they would have been better off remaking Belmont's Revenge. One final criticism, why did they go with a soundfont that makes the OST sound like it belongs in TMNT. It's not very fitting in a Castlevania game imho.
Honestly, I think Battle of the Holy should have been used instead of 'Riddle' for Dracula's secret third form... Does anyone know how to unlock Dracula's third form, btw? I've tried too many times to get it, but I've only ever made it to his second form before the game decided it was finished...
@Thirteen1335 I patched the WAD file three times using Floating IPS and it doesn't work. Reincarnated Soul still plays as the stage one theme. Any help here on getting it to work correctly?

Couldn’t have said it better. They could have easily used Reincarnated Soul for a different stage. I would have taken it over the music from Stage 2.

I was pissed when they just ported the original to the Anniversary Collection, I’ve never had the chance to play Rebirth.
The only to get it is by hacking the wii.

I didnt mind them replacing the rest of the OST but battle of the Holy should have been included from the get go, and Legend of Dracula as well.

You can only fight his third form in normal and hard modes, you can't if you're playing easy mode
Huh... I must have had it on Easy mode then. Lol
His third phase can only be taught by fighting him on the normal or hard difficulties. In easy mode it’s skipped.
Could you do the same for contra rebirth and its unused soundtrack?
