- Ringing Stedman (what else?) on this gorgeous new eight in Herefordshire. Cast by Whitechapel and hung by Nicholson Engineering in 2011/12 to restore ringing bells to the church where Fabian Stedman, the 'father' of change-ringing, was baptised. Sorry about the dark - but enjoy the sound!

Wow, what a fantastic sounding little 8 - cracking job by Whitechapel! Love them.
Stunning bells!! Love these to bits!! Want them for my own :)
A beautiful Whitechapel peal.
Nicely struck Stedman triples too.
My dad was Ernie Rowe a bell hanger for Whitechapel till 72 when we moved to Sydney.
He always said Taylor's for tenors and Whitechapel for trebles.
I do think he was so right.
Beautiful indeed, a wonderful and fitting project. We had a superb touch of Stedman earlier on which I didn't manage to video because I was covering (I usually miss the best ringing!).
Aren't they super? I'm much looking forward to getting more ringing on these.
Very nice....excellent in fact. My new ring of 8 for Blackburn will be a little heavier at 6-0-23 and a semitone lower at C# so I hope they are something akin to these in quality - mind you, the heaviest 4 will be the current Gillett bells so it shouldn't go far wrong.
Aint that always the way? We've got two other Herefordshire rings at the foundry at the moment, Norton Canon which should be coming back any day now as a six, and Abbey Dore which were declared unringable around when I started ringing.
Slowly....got the faculty last week - now I need the money!..LOL
Hmm... I'd go with Whitechapel for the lot, just a personal preference! Don't forget Gilletts. Look at markcp81's video of Salehurst - a new Whitechapel tenor which is gorgeous.
Sounds good! These are cracking little bells and they really sing out. I was worried they'd be a bit too shrill but they're not at all. How's Blackburn going?
Glad you approve :)
Oh yes they are gorgeous! But you can't have them!
Yarkhil is my last name
CHarming little bells.
didn't whitechapel anounce there closure ? or somthin
