The cafeteria and 711 are usually open even in summer break. I was just unlucky that day. Luckily I was able to eat at a restaurant just outside of the campus 😁
You can go to the university website => find a page about research / research labs => choose a lab => there is usually a page about the lab's members and their contacts.
i also intend to do my degree in electrical and electronic engineering at tokyo tech through mext too. Could you tell me which campus I would study at?
Are you going to apply for undergraduate or graduate degree? If undergrad, you will be spending your time at the Ookayama campus. For grad degree, it might be the Ookayama or Suzukakedai campus, depending on your research lab. But for lectures , they mostly take place in the Ookayama campus 🙂

Hi. I am also doing research in AI for medical data :). At my univ, there are several research groups for this field. They differ in the type of data being used (images, omics, etc). If you're interested, you can google 'IGP-A program Tokyo Tech' for more info about the graduate program.
The requirements vary depending on the program you’re applying to. Not all undergrad programs in Japan require SAT scores, so you might wanna check the requirements first.
