@@realworldtoolreviewsI was waiting for you to mention how heavy is it. I'm putting one up to start taking handyman jobs, avoiding redundancies and trying to get the most versatile tools, I still have a couple tools left but I'm around 8 - 10 kg (16-20 lbs) and I feel it's comfortable
I have a very simple comment. But one that I feel matters. I am a professional trim carpenter for over 30 years and the only tape measure that I will use is the Stanley fat max, it is the best ever, can take a beating and stay dead on. Face it they get dropped. Almost never fails me. I use them daily for about a year at a time before replacing. And they are not gimmicky, I don't need all the extra markers, I can read a tape. Nice video
I worked with Milwaukee, Stanley, and other tape measures. My go to right now is the DeWalt 16ft. I think it's way better than the fatmax. You should pick one up and try it.
Veto bags are definitely for people who can pass the cost on to their customers. As a DIYer I rock $25 off brand electrician totes for each of my trade bags. I don’t know if they would be durable in a long term professional setting but I like the form factor. It’s much better than having everything in my old massive 20” husky hard tote. That thing was a pain to carry. Now each bag I have is half the size and has a shoulder strap and there’s more room for specialized tools since I’m not bringing everything to every job. God bless you too.
The reason I use veto bags is they are easier to find stuff when working with it all day and they last a long time. Usually with cheap bags they only last like 6 months so they are no cheaper in the long run. For DIY a cheap bag will serve you fine.
As always a very good tool video. It looks like all those tools in the bag could way a little bit of weight picking all of them up in the tool bag. Keep up the great videos thank you.
It is super heavy, but it isn’t going to be a grab and go bag. It’s just going to sit in the truck and I’ll grab what I need from it. Thanks for watching!
to prevent the bit from dropping just take your needle nose and squeeze the plastic a tiny bit until it doesn’t drop it anymore. I had the same issue and that trick fixed it
Just discovered aerial totes. Not big enough be a do it all bag but much more a I’m grabbing these tools and a couple of might need tools. Just got the Milwaukee without outside pockets and love it. I’m climbing ladders a lot with caulking guns and tubes of sealant a spray bottle and rags. I’ve been looking at bags a long time and bought quite a few that I was never really happy with. Milwaukee has one with outside pockets also there are Klein and bucket boss ones that look like good fits as task bags. Open tops and easy access, Very happy with the one I got I wish I could find in stores and check them out before buying. Almost got the Husky supply bag to try but always put it back as no way to put a shoulder strap on it and I needed a ladder bag Anyway I did not know of them and wanted to share my discovery. Feel like I’m sharing that ice cream is good and somehow just never tried before.
Great load out, I use the veto open tote bag for my general maintenance tools and a Toughbuilt rolling tool bag XL for my other gear. Love the videos, respect from the UK👍
I was actually looking at those at lowes the other day. They do have some pretty cool ones. I was also looking at the craftsman versastack ones there. They looked cool too
..bout every 9 months I dump my main (DeWalt DG5553) bag on the living room floor to replace & access what I’m packing between 3 buildings.. It mainly lives in my truck, but ⅓ of the time ..I’m lugging it up stairs & ladders. I’ve some locked up on-site tools, but have grabbed a hand-truck to roll that bag of mine around 🙂
Very complete bag! The Dewalt Demos and the Wera Chisil driver kinda overlap as maybe some of the pry bars do, to maybe cut some poundage? guessing it is north of 60#? Some of the Channel Locks / adjustable wrench combos also overlap in purpose
The chisel driver is a smaller flat head that the dewalt so I felt like I needed it in there for that size. I know it seems insane but having a bunch of different pry bars and flat heads is important to the way I work. So is the 6, 10, and 12 inch channel locks and adjustable wrenches. I use each size all the time and I can’t live without them. I’m not worried about the weight because the bag is just going to stay in the truck 99% of the time and I’ll just grab stuff from it.
Great setup my friend...i luv duckbill pliers for some reason, found myself collecting them...i have a vintage klein pair that are by far the best I own with craftsman a close 2nd...great vid👍👍
What is the weight of the bag and tools. I carry a small hand saw and a couple of scraps of wood in the truck for quick get it done repairs, until a real fix can be completed, electrical multitool and and some sockets might be a good add. Weight constraints is always a consideration in my opinion. Good stuff.
I haven’t weighed it, but it is heavy as hell. Too heavy to be a grab and go bag. I use those bags more for just organization in the truck so I can see everything. I do have some other small kits in the truck that have sockets and other job specific stuff. Thanks man!
I am curious to see how the tool selection changes over the next few months. It seemed like there were some duplicates of some tools. Personally, I carry some duplicates in screwdrivers and pliers.
It’s not a grab and go bag dude. I would throw my back out every day picking that thing up. It just stays in the truck and organizes everything so I can see it, and I grab what I need out of it. I’ve got smaller pouches for specific jobs. The only time I pick that thing up is if I’m going to be somewhere all day. I did get a better bag today though. I’ll have a video about it coming soon. Thanks for watching!

I have hard box for plumbing and general tools, another for electrical, one organizer for screws and nails, bone for maintenance and one for extra stuff and one big, on wheels, with power tools. Even so I have 10% of his tools, but still weights a lot
Husky open tops are very common where I work (Commercial/Industrial Electrician) people seem to love them. I had a Veto Tech XL bag zip up style but switch to a new Kennedy tool box a year ago. I love it but will probably go to an open top style tote down the line.

Great video as always. Punch/nail set, NCVT or small meter? That’s all I could see I would add. I know you keep the small tester in your daily.
