Wow!! Wish I knew about him. I live in Michigan and would have loved to meet him. RIP Mr Larkin
What a spectacular house. He was very beautiful soul, very talented some of the houses were very detailed in painting. I hope the town kept his house and turned it into a community hub for crafting or something. It would be sad if they removed it. People like Bill are the real America.
Building bird houses such a sweet idea. What a remarkable person. Thank you, sir. Rest in peace!
He built some birdhouses in his soul. :)

What a kind man. Just caring about God’s creatures. God rest his soul. I bet he’s greeting my beloved pets at the Rainbow Bridge. Kind, kind. He has the key to a true, loving spirit

💞 What a joy, RIP Bird House Man! 👏👍🇺🇸
RIP ❤️🔥 🙏 little emerald 🐦
Lovely story.
What a great guy ❤ he reminds me of my granddad. He had terrible issues with his back in his later years and despite being in near constant pain he was always upbeat and making people laugh and smile. I always think about that when i get in a sour mood over some trivial matter.
Truly a beautiful man ❤
Thanks Scott
Such a nice, uplifting story. Thanks for sharing! ❤
So glad you were in Southern Indiana Scott. Thank you for the interview with Bill. He was quite poplar in the area! So many people have his birdhouses. So glad you got a couple of them! ❤
What an awesome fella. RIP

I think this is one of my favorite videos of yours. What a sweet guy. The yard and house were incredible! Oh, and I think everyone needs a gnome garden. :-)
What beautiful work I am sure it took him some time but I can tell they were made with love RIP Mr Larkin
When I see someone making birdhouses I always think of Sissy Spacek’s role in David Lynch’s a Straight Story. Beautiful film. Very unlike Lynch’s other films.
😢 thank you for this interesting story remarkable human being ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
R.I.P Bill Larkin

What a cool guy! Rest in peace Bill Larkin~ I loved that tiny birdhouse shaped like his dome house💙 Thx once again, for another awesome video, Scott
👁👁Hey Scott and Troy
I was truly in awe of that house, and didn't hear a word you said Scott. Had to go back to listen to you speaking with him. Wonderful!
Glad you enjoyed it. He was worth the extra time, I hope.
I watched the fantastic series that you and Jordan did, in fact I suggested several things that you did in the Carthage/Joplin, MO area, but for the life of me I don’t remember this episode! The old mind is just going, lol.
Man I wish that I had what it took to be this good natured a person.
So endearing. ❤
God bless him! What a sweet heart he has! Thanks for sharing this with us! ❤ 11:05
Super cool Scott
Great video. FYI: Native Hoosier. Loogootee is pronounced: LA-GO-TEA
He was a awesome man I’m from Vincennes Indiana
So, from a native Hoosier, lol, the town is pronounced...La go tee. It's ok. Definitely not anything like it's spelled. Love the channel!!
I love this video.
I love this so much! I love collecting birdhouses and am just in awe of his property, and inspired by his resilience and kindness.
Wonder what happened to all the bird houses
such a heartbreaking story. You see people like this gentleman and wonder how they live, how do they do the basic needs of life?? Did he have a caregiver? I'm amazed he was able to mail you something Scott, one has to wonder how he made it to the post office. So sad. He could obviously get around a bit to turn on all the tinkle lights, get to the bathroom etc..
WAG=What A Guy!
Rest in peace 😔🇺🇸🙏🏻
Wow
R.I.P. Bill. 🙏🏻
Great man!
😇
born and raised in Washington pronunciation Lo”goattee” for Loogootee, love the channel
Detroit Michigan, loves this video. Needless California must have a story to tell. The Mojave Tribe would love to give you some time.
La go tee.....i know it doesn't look like it ...thanks from Indiana!!!!
