I am an American Harry Potter fan and I am developing my own American version of Harry Potter titled Mary Arianna Smith The Girl Who Lived and I want my version of the Illvermorny School to be as accurate as possible to actual North American cultures and to do much better than Rowling did !
      There are way too many
Etc Etc’s to cover in a simple comment here but will say that my version of Illvermorny and MACUSA has no Statute Of Secrecy and Magical and Non Magical People are friends but not enemies for the most part and yes you can definitely tell what Magical People from the 5 different Regions of the United States are from they are more different from each than the Non Magic People from the 5 Regions of the United States are from !
And for some trivia Midwestern Witches of European descent often have Red hair, Fair skin tones and Attractive freckles and a very very pretty accent and way of talking and Do Not have hardly any dreams about engaging in The Dark Arts too much and it is the same way with there Midwestern Wizard of European descent counterparts too !
And finally most GOOD Slytherin’s and Pure Bloods come from North America it’s just those European ones that are the Voldemort and Bellatrix types !
Mary Smith is part Slytherin and part Hufflepuff but my version of Illvermorny has no Houses at all !
Let me know what you think about this !
