Not an item but just a cool little fact, at the end of the DLC when your talking to Tenzo, when he’s done talking he will call you a friend and bow to you. If you use the touchpad and bow back you’ll get some extra dialogue

if Kratos ever goes to Japanese Mythology, I hope they include a Ghost Of Tsushima homage / tribute. That would be an epic way of returning the favour.

In GoW: Ragnarok, if you collect all of Kvasir's poems, and go back to Sindri's house (after selling them) Sindri will have all the books on a bookshelf, and one of those books will have the Sakai Clan logo.
Tbh god of war needs a reference to horizon and ghost of Tsushima and both of those games have references z to god of war and ghost has a reference to horizon.
I wish they would add a sword kit called Sakai darkness.

During the third to last story mission, during the raid on Sakai castle, I opened a chest and got a variant costume for the ronin armor that is the design that jin wears when he gets his stuff taken away.

@@thatcooldude677 hard to describe. When in fort Sakai it's in a chest about midway through, it's before the bridge section I believe. Sorry, I'm not sure this that description will help but I'll upload a vid with the general location later

If you use the travellers fit, it allows you to use wind of vanity. the wind will take you to gears and sword kits through tsushima and iki

There’s a new ronin style for your outfit it’s called the eagle or something like that and it’s at fort Sakai in a chest on the right in the first section you walk through

How about the green version of the sword kit that you get from the crimson dye guy it’s hidden by the only shrine on the island
Just use the traveler's attire, follow the birds, and this stuff is really easy to find for being so hidden.
something i noticed was in the cave with the demonic archers mask, on the wall is a painting referencing sly cooper

I think it would be cool if sucker punch released a new dlc and new maps and story every 6 months to a year for this game until the sequel is out.
at the very top of iki island on a smaller island there is s shrine next to a monkey flute place and if you are wearing tadyoris armor and you listen there will be a red circle you have to shoot and you get a horizonzero dawn outfit
The outfit for aloy is the forbidden shrine for the tadayori outfit
That god of war armor is ridiculously awesome. Can’t wait to buy this.

I'm not aware if you know this or not but there is a sword kit that goes with the catmask that you like It is on the same island as the saru island bamboo strike and you have to play a tune for a monkey to get it

At the top of ickey Island, there's like another one of the shrines and you have to use like the scanning ability to find the weak points and shoot all of them with your arrows wearing the tadayori armor
There is also some new feature in white and black merchant dye

They should've included shimura's horned armor in the update. I think a lot of folks was hoping for it since shimura acted like a second father to Jin.

ok so real quick for the people like me that used this video to figure this stuff out cuz I was too dumb to actually figure it out there is a way to get the a alloy outfit you have to go to the forbidden shrine while wearing the tadayori's armor and then use the focused hearing technique while looking at the statue then ther will be three glowing spots on the statue that you have to shoot with your bow

Almost a year later. You can still get the items in legends by playing one mission with each class.
I did...i found by asinet you have to play beginning and go same location you know hunter build outfit then you just unlock new outfit.
There is also a sword kit by fort Sakai that I think is a reference to nezuko from demon slayer

Found a white kensie armor dye at the main entrance door. After thru door, turn immediately right and behind a ladder. Literally an all white plain cloth to in outfit

Anyone else got a weird glitch where it says there's another vanity item in the Nakajima Shrine but can't get it because you're full on bamboo and the box the vanity item is probably in has bamboo sticking out of it so you can't loot the box..

There is another shrine but a shattered one located at an island on the northwest called raider's promontory near where you come into iki and beside a monkey sanctuary. The shrine is facing the ocean or the horizon which is probably a reference to "horizon" zero dawn. So this is probably the shrine for the horizon skin but it is shattered so it means we cant get the horizon skin
There are also arrows stuck in the ground all around it so you're probably right

Ohh I think it's the early Kensei Armour right? Is there no way we can wear earlier variations whilst still benefitting from the upgrades we have bought because I like the minimalistic early versions more!

This game did full fledged character development in a dlc, just casually. We have to appreciate that.
Tge only vanity I'm missing is on tge west coast between the sanctuary and u think Vipers den. All the others give a clue o what to do, not this one, it's just a rock in the water.
So I can only get the god of war armor after I complete iki island because I can't do nothing yet so I'm assuming after the main story on iki island I can get the armor...

For the hunter outfit,I did find the shrine and the blue targets,but there is no way you can activate it
My theory:They added the shrine and targets but for some reason,stopped production on it and forgot to remove it.

The shrine for the Horizon armour is destroyed, that’s why we can’t get it in the DLC. It’s called the destroyed shrine and it’s in the top left of the map
