- In this episode of BlacktipH, Josh goes fishing with New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo for sailfish. Brandon's dream was to catch a big sailfish. Josh and Carl from Slob City Charters deployed both kites with half a dozen live fish for bait. We had to use helium balloons to keep the kites in the air. After several hours of grinding, we had our first bite and it was a sailfish! Brandon caught a fish of a lifetime.

Thank you for your inspiration! I came down to your area from Michigan last week and caught and release 3 sharks solo from the beach! 2 blacktips and one 150 lb bull! My first sharks!

The Dream Catcher of course I've seen ramp monsters! I talked with Mr. O'gorman for over an hour while we waited for sharks and he even live streamed my brothers catch! I took a picture with him too.

Got my first billfish about 3-4 weeks ago, he describes it so well, seeing it on video is one thing but seeing it in person, (mine being a 80-100kg black marlin from the yak) it is absolutely incredible, great video mate 😁

I was wondering if you would tell me the rod and reel used to catch that sail fish? Also, is there an affordable rod and reel you could recommend for people on a budget for off shore and/or shark fishing. As I was typing this I realized you may not be able to promote or mention brands on your channel but if you are able to will you recommend something? Or even recommend something affordable sold by BlacktipH if there's anything available. I know there's lots of stuff out there but I'm so curious when it comes to more affordable gear if you just don't recommend it or what someone with your experience would credit as affordable and worth buying.

God damnit man, this channel had so much potential. You have the sweet cameras, the sweet drones, the saltwater knowledge. Yet you keep making the same thing over and over, bringing guests who know nothing about fishing and going with charters.
Vladof if you watch the vids you’ll see he does more work than the charter captains. The only reason he doesn’t go by himself is bc he doesn’t have a boat
My point is: he makes the same content over and over again, he doesn't try new approaches
Vladof I mean maybe a little... but do u watch other fishing RUclipsrs? Bass, Bass and more Bass. Talk about boring. Josh is much more interesting than everyone else. Plus it’s not like there’s thousands of gamefish species off South Florida. He does pretty much everything except tuna and tarpon.
You're right about the bass anglers on youtube, they're boring as hell... I like Josh, I've been following him since a while, but I just wish he'd try to fish somewhere else, or with another type of approach (kayak/multi-day expeditions, or by himself with no guides)
