    Very cool. I loved some of the designs you did. I too, like the fact that you can wash it and start all over again. BTW blue is your color!!! Very pretty!!!! Thanks for another great review!!!

    @Trisha- if you want it to be permanent, use a glass etching cream.

    This is going to come in very handy for me. I do stained glass work, and now and then, I would love to use a certain color on a project, but don't necessarily want it to be see thru. This is going to be great! Thanks for sharing!

    Can this spray be used as a base coat on mixed media glass bottle art? And can it be sealed with a varnish?

    I guess this is lovely to use in windows during Christmas time to make a drawing or a lovely phrase, then just wipe away!

  • @willysmom1

    How cool. Will the design stay on with normal wiping off? With just a damp rag? Curious minds want to know. tfs

      willysmom1 Yup! I just gently handwash and it stays on. :)

    it's it possible to make the frosted darker for more privacy? I spray three layers so far and it looks the same. maybe a little white spray but not so close will do? ??

    I don't like that it washes off. I'd like to use this in things that will need washed. Is there a brand that does not come off or something you can put over it to make it permanent?

      Hi did you find out about permanent frost spray i want to know too. thanks.

  • @arielbaby9832
    @arielbaby9832 9 лет назад

    I need something that is perm, wondering if I can put a coating on this to make it stay on. Because I am putting vinyl on it. and if I put the vinyl on in the wrong lace and I need to move it so when I take it up it is going to remove the frost as well.

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  9 лет назад

      +arielbaby9832 This is not a permanent product- you need a glass etching cream instead.

  • @juleskarney7935

    Can you use this product on a chandler? And still turn on the lights.
    Thanks for a great presentation.

    • @crafttestdummies

      You didn't specify if you wanted to paint the light bulbs or crystals or shades- but I'd say you can use it on glass shades or drops, but NOT light bulbs.

    Hallo. Thank you so much for the video. What is the coverage of one can? I have a rather big surface I want to cover and I need to calculate how many cans I will need...😘

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  5 лет назад

      I really can't answer that for you- perhaps there's info on the can? And you many need more than one coat, depending on how it's applied.

    can you use it on glass lamp shades?

  • @Melissa0774

    I wonder how you could use this stuff to make a checkerboard pattern. I think that would be kind of hard to do with tape. Any tips?

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  8 лет назад +1

      Hmm. You'd need very low-tack tape AND make sure the product is dry. However, you may want a permanent etching cream for a complex design.

    • @tablet2016
      @tablet2016 6 лет назад

      I've done similar by taping, then cutting every other square for the first 2 coats, then remove the tape for the final 2, 3 coats. That will give you the two tones. If you want some squares totally clear, just keep them taped

    Can this withhold weather?I'd like to use it in my front door window panel to obscure the horrible gold inside the window?? I'm thinking of spraying it on both sides so the gold would actually look like a dark outline instead of the actual gold.
    thanks!

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  8 лет назад

      No- This product is not suited for high- traffic or outdoor weather. It would scratch off.

    I want to paint a picture on glass block and then spray the frost over the painted glass. Will I still see the paint picture? can I spray the inside of the glass block and then paint on the outside?

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  7 лет назад

      sharon lewis I would think you'd want to frost the glass FIRST- then paint on top so your picture is clear.

    Can this be used on Lamps? I have a hanging lamp I would like to frost. Would the heat set it on fire?

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  9 лет назад

      +Nancy Peel I don't believe it would be a problem, as long as you are not spraying the BULB. Just the shade, right?

  • @cwinter112

    so I havr a glass table, if I spray the underside of the glass, but leave the top unfrosted, will it stay frosted looking? will this always wash off?

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  8 лет назад

      If you spray the underside it should have the frosted look- just don't wash that side!

  • @FriskyOCallahan

    Is there a sealer or finish I can spray on to prevent scratching? I don't want fingernails or jewelry to scratch off the frost.

    • @crafttestdummies
      @crafttestdummies  9 лет назад

      Sadly, no. Any spray product you add also changes the look of the clear glass. If you want the frosting affect to be permanent, you must use a chemical etching cream.

    • @baileykate1592
      @baileykate1592 8 лет назад

      +wave surfa It doesn't permanently etch the surface so you can reuse the item for various holidays and events. I personally don't need a Halloween goblet all year, but I can make them for the season and then wash them off and make Winter decorations.
