I did a floor on that idea but I printed up pages that looked like marble andcut into large squares. I painted the floor a gray to simulate grout and glued the squares on the gray floor. It turned out great to my surprise!
@@kimberbell4238 It's still there but I put some flooring over it recently. It seemed to hold up well although it wasn't in a room there there was a lot of traffic. I got the idea of the net where some people were using paper bags and tearing them up and gluing them down. I did like that floor but I have a new home now and it was in an addition. I do know i could take the flooring up and the floor would still look nice.
@@CathyMarsh-j2b Somewhere in my files of pictures I have a pic. You can search the net and find other ways of doing that. You could use old comic pages and a bookstore in town did pages from old books. It is a cool way to do a floor and lots cheaper than buying lino plus it is your own design.
Love All the Creative Ideas ! Several years ago I did something similar to this on a sturdy cardboard box . However , I used thick brown paper bags maybe need to add a little moisture to the bags , torn randomly the scrunched up, the straightened out , glued on to the box an painted over all with the clear glue , it came out looking more -like - leather . If you used maybe a little paint first or in the glue an something to add gloss as I did later with with blue pain an a little glitter . I was so surprised it look so good , as this was just a spur of the moment idea .
The vase with flowers, pebbles and clear glue is such a great idea for a reasonable priced dupe of the crazy expensive flowers from high end catalogs I'm e been wishing I could afford. Thanks 😄👍🕊
Omg this is such a neat idea! Honestly, if I wouldn't have seen this video, I probably would have laughed if someone told me to try it. But, I am also curious to know how well it holds up due to foot traffic and how long it would last. ?My assumption would be that It wouldn't hold up for years and years, I mean obviously lol but, it could be a temporary/emergency fix at least. ?
😮❤ oh my goodness that floor look like wood or leather it was so pretty and the price I bet the prices so freaking low for the stuff to do that way better than a whole new floor
The floor, I done that in my multipurpose craft room, about 9yrs ago and its still going strong has some paint marks but it has stayed in place and if I want I can redo it or paint over it.
Me too i would never of even thought of that yet dare to do it yet it looks so beautiful I love the dry flower glass candle things and the glue and cornstarch table top im now looking around my house to see what I can do that one lol
00:10 while I would never do that faux stained glass to my everyday windows, I do have some higher up cathedral windows in shapes that are too expensive to buy shades for. I can see doing this to filter the sunlight, especially during winter when the sun is lower, and smacks you right in the eyes around 4pm. Did not know Elmers came in a clear version. Thanks.
The problem with the crafts where you use the glue on glass is this -If you live in a place with high humidity or steam or mist, the glue will become foggy again, and sometimes melt off the glass.
Each color.on window needs a border for it to work. Otherwise it looks as if a 5 year old did it. Looks great until you remove the tape. That should tell you something.
On the first one, with the faux stained glass window, I really like that idea, but I wish he would've shown how the sun shines through the colors onto a wall when he was mentioning that. Unfortunately, I cannot do anything like this on my windows, because I live in an apartment. But maybe there's a workaround to achieve a similar look. I'll have to think about that. I liked almost all of these projects. I didn't really care for the geode flower pot as much, though, but I like the idea.
Try it on a small area of window or other glass....if memory serves, it peels off easily enough if coats are thicker, consider that so you don't pick a too elaborate a pattern/design.
Thrift the largest picture frame you can find and use that, then hang it in your window. The process is much easier if you are doing it on a flat surface. If you don't want to make it yourself, Walmart and Amazon both have privacy window clings that let in the light, but cannot be seen through in many pretty patterns. They are completely removable.
I canned tomatoes, pickles, etc. for years and you usually save the jars and reuse them for canning.. go buy some new ones and then you know they are safe. Not such a big crisis after all.😊
I think he did say it can be peeled off if you want to remove it for any reason. I've not tried this, though, so I'm not completely sure. I do like the looks of it, though. It was pretty.
I saw a video of someone using pennies for their floor. They glued the pennies to the flor and then went over top a couple times with clear epoxy. It looked pretty cool in the end and was only like 120 bucks for everything... But it might be closer to 200 or 250 today thanks to the crazy bad economy.
1st project - did I hear him say that it peels right off? Was he talking about the actual paint on the window? If anyone has tried this, let me know. If so, what a wonderful way to decorate windows for each season / holiday!
This will stain your window and the light does not shine through. There are stained glass paints everywhere that are safe for windows and cheaper than all this glue.
@@SunflowerSunflower101 I've been making faux stained art for over 20 years. There used to be a very old cheap brand that used a type of glue as its base and it was discontinued because of the stain. Using straight glue with paint would be even worse. Even without the paint, the glue will crack and shrivel. I mean, anyone who has been a child and has made craft projects knows what happens to glue when its put in the sunlight. I can't believe this channel has so many followers.
The glow lights in the vases are amazing

I love the painted sun outdoor table!
Me, as well. The sun project was a very professional piece.
It's absolutely adorable 😻.
The last project with the window, was beautiful

To get a clear color effect try mixing gel cake coloring with Elmer’s clear glue instead
Wow! Amazing
😮❤ I love stained glass windows that's a great idea
Love the Sun table and the cornstarch stencil table.
Faux stain glass! I love it! Thank you so much! ❤️ 😊😊👏👏
Really loved these ideas. Definitely will try a few of them.
Thank you for getting my creative juices started.
I really enjoyed all these crafting ideas!❤
The floor is my favorite. I’m thinking of doing that with old paper wallpaper from the 1940’s.

Love the stained glass idea instead of spending loads of money on Gallery Glass products. Thank you for this! Now to go play Lol.
Gr8 ideas. Loved that jazz at the end ❤
I actually did my bedroom floor like this, love it too. The cost was even better a 14x18 room cost 60 bucks to cover the floor :)

🤷🏼♀️ Doesn’t the glue reconstitute if it gets wet, I don’t understand how this works for a floor.
Yes how do you mop up with solvents Elmer's washable (not super glue) and thin paper?@@kimers12660
Where do u get the paper? Is it butchers paper with wax on it or arts and crafts paper?
Brilliant idea with the faux stained glass.
BRILLIANT flooring Idea!!

If you can reach, cover them in frosted contact paper?
Super easy to change up
not a bad idea, thanks. @@CT-1001
Some brilliant ideas here. Thank you.
Before you spend the money to make a blue glue mason jar just go buy one. That way you can use it for multiple things and not worry.
Leuk,dat laatste raam!

I was about to be like it’s all fun and games until the condensation begins. Here in Vegas it would probably be great, tho.
Did you use E6000?
Acrylic is a better choice
Awesome Hacks
This is how things will be done in our new world, i think. Very nice.
Some great ideas thxs ❤

Great ideas for Elmers glue

Just use frosted contact paper. It can be painted also. An its also way easier to remove this way.
Agree.
Corn starch and glue ,definately will try that .
Does it have to be the thick package, grocerie bag type paper. Could it be a thick gift wrap paper??? Cause that would look so cool!
On the floor that is.
Brown paper 3:30💝
7:11💝 Thanks!
Really cool ideas ❤
Gotta love that glue.
I did the flowers in the vase but the clear glue turned yellow 😮
Use non-yellowing product to seal it?
I did it with washable kids paint and one drop of dish soap and it works amazing
Just Awesome!!!!!
❤❤❤❤ brilliant ideas ❤❤😊😊😊
I have these clear glass skulls that dont show up much this would help...and its kewl for many things...love it
Love the mandala at 5:50
Amazing wish I could do this.
I did the paper in a bathroom! We call it the cowboy:)
Landlords love it when you smear glue on the window
Does your Elmers glue have to be clear? Can it be the white glue?
I like the ideas....
Nice
I loved all of these idesa...
Great tips
Window glue wont melt or peel off with strong sunlight on a hot day? I think it willlll
The sun will bake the glue and paint into the window, and the light doesn’t filter in at all. Use the safe stained glass paint.
Will it not fade in the sun, how much work to remove it?
So you mod podge the floor?
03:20 what is the ratio: water/glue.
Too cool!
First window with glue….Would the glue melt from heat of the sun? Just asking because the one I’m wanting to do is full sun all day.
It will definitely melt in the dessert, like Vegas0r Phoenix.
I did my bedroom walls with the brown paper bags from grocery stores it was beautiful looked like leather... I moved so idk if its still there
20 years ago, we called it "window color" :)
Those are all so cool! You would never know that they were made with Elmer's glue!
wow!
Somme cool ideas
How would you clean your window without destroying the paint and glue ?
First one looks very cheap.
Some of these are not good ideas. People often use blue glass mason jars for canning. Now we have to watch for glue stained?
I canned tomatoes, pickles, etc. for years and you usually save the jars and reuse them for canning.. go buy some new ones and then you know they are safe. Not such a big crisis after all.😊
I did the vase idea. The glue will shrink and turns hard and greyish brown and looks ridiculous. After about two months.

I remember watching the last lady from start to finish, 2 videos. 😢
Can the window paint be removed ?

Please don’t put mason jars in the oven. The manufacturer states they aren’t made to withstand it and could shatter.
The temperature they are using won't hurt the jar....
The stained glass window at the begin of was terrifying!
❤️👍
audio with each segment is inconsistent. i have to adjust it with every video.
