I love that you enjoy your craft with making your profit margin where you move your merchandise, but it’s still making you money I wish other people would jump on the bandwagon. You wanna move your product you don’t wanna sit on it. Those are the cutest things I’ve ever seen. Great job.
This is a game changer for me. I know a couple of bar owners that I can get glass bottles from. Thank you so much. I started doing macrame a few years ago and as much as I love it, it's very hard to make a profit from.
The greatest thing about your video besides your product ... Is that you do know how to make A how to video. Speeding up the film when you have repetitive actions.... It's great. I have often seen videos that were so Long and drawn out.I could not finish them... Great job!
I give away more then I sell. Friends get on me but it makes me happy. I live in small town Tennessee so it makes people smile. That's all that matters
Same! My goal is to have a booth like this someday but I either keep what I make, give it away, or sell things piecemeal. It takes a lot to build up an inventory.
These are lovely, thank you for sharing. I love to use free stuff too and i never part with old clothes without removing all buttons, bows, beads, sequins etc. as they make awesome embellishments! ❤❤❤
What I really like about this is that it's not only sustainable, it's practical in that the only part of the whole thing that could fail is the tree trunk which could easily be replaced. I can't stand going to a craft show and seeing everything put together with hot glue and a prayer. Hot glue doesn't hold forever.
Thank you so much 🙏🏼 for all your information & openness regarding products, supplies & pricing. Whilst I am not crafting these days, I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I wish u all the best in 2025 ☺️
It would be interesting to make "plain" trees with embedded eyelets to hold hooks. So people could display their own tiny ornaments or special momentos. And you could even create to sell "select your own" individual mini ornaments.
She's very creative!! I used a birdhouse as one of my first ornaments, some 40 years ago. I don't like glitter, because it spreads everywhere, so I crushed up some broken glass balls and used that as "glitter."
Please use eye protection. I had dust blow in to my eyes using a sander like that. It was so painful, had to go to the ER to have them cleaned out. Great crafting!
Those are beautiful.... your work is fantastic... who cares about high end art, I love folk art , and natural art that recycles!! Keep on Keepin' on, those are the bomb!
I've been watching crafting videos for the past three weeks. All of the wonderful crafty people are so very talented. I can't make up my mind what I like the best. So I'll say, I love it all. Your trees are beautiful. I'll be watching more of your videos and subbing to your channel. Happy crafting.
Everything you said resonates. It’s not enjoyable if you’re relying on a high profit. It’s an easy way to get let down and loose passion in what you’re creating.
Thank you for sharing and I'm just starting out and I love the looks of these tree's , plus thanks for your hard work putting into making of these videos for sharing and making the😇
These are gorgeous. I don't like working with resin so I wouldn't try it but I sure as heck would buy one or more. To bad you don't come to the KC area.
Lovely work. Thanks for sharing. I wire wrap seaglass into pendants. I have lots of pieces that I could make some trees with. Thank you for sharing and showing your displays and creativity. Beautiful. God bless you, loved ones and business. Peace, Lynne 🍃💜✝️💜🍃
I sell empty wine bottles online, after removing labels and clean them with vinegar and water. Im so thrilled to see that you are using recycled glass bottles. Ive sold over 20 boxes of bottles so they dont have to put in landfills. I pack them in recycled wine boxes that are free from the store and, use recycled Amazon bubble wraps for packing. 😁👍
I love your perspective and absolutely agree! I’d love to be able to visit your booth. How does someone know what market you’ll be working at? Thanks.😊
I honestly appreciate the concern, but it is profound, prolonged exposure that causes issues. I am 100% dedicated to doing the research necessary and taking precautions to keep myself safe. My exposure is no different than using household cleaners
girlllll you are very talented and in the past i worked with lot of wood sanding staining varnishes resin ...you are breathing in all this with no face mask, you do have good ventilation but be careful as i ended up with a condition like ms...and was asked about did i work with varnishes n resin,i have been disabled 1/2 my life now

There absolutely gorgeous,I love them on the tree, it's such a natural process, recycling and saving the earth and it's a lifetime gift. Id collect them
Thank you for the great idea! I thought that you had mentioned that there was information on the type of resin and the glass crushing machine someplace on this video, but I couldn’t find it anywhere in these comments or any place.?
Would it work if you think of cost of materials as 30%, then figure in labor hopefully as about 30%, and the cost of the booth, and gas et al, transport, as another portion?
@@laurelnotley9541 I try and take bout £50 for materials. I can't work atm waiting for a massive operation on my foot in February. Great process video!! Just before your husband shows up, there is a glass jar I kept watching hoping it wouldn't smack into your wine glasses.. Held my breath for a little bit LOL.😊 Hope the show went well❤❤❤!

Being a lover of glass, I think your trees are great. Seeing those trees made from bottle bottoms is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, I love using recycled glass!

it takes me all year to build up to Christmas! I’m a wreck right now trying to plan for a big seafood festival show in March
@@ACoastalMagnolia I hope that doesn't detract from your enjoyment of your craft!

Tbanks for not being greedy with your pricing. These are so cute!
You bet! I want everyone to be able to enjoy the art!
That was very therapeutic to watch. The only thing that could improve it for me is to be able to see a close-up of a few of the finished products.
Thank you for the suggestion! I will definitely include more close-ups in the future.

I do normally strengthen the trunk with resin or E6000 for durability. You are right about hot glue - not very strong,
@ACoastalMagnolia smart!! You're incredibly smart! Great job.

You can use a pressure washer to take off the old layer. My sister did this to her back yard fence and it looks New. Amazed me!
Yes, we’ve done that too! But our fence was very old, and half rotten!
