Windows doesn't really matter if you optimized them correctly, you could try a custom windows

I have both, but the chips are the same, 7800x3d has 0-7 cores 3d and 7950x3d has 0-7 cores 3d and 8-15 regular, but when u game only cores 0-7 are active or 8-15
Do you turn on game mode on windows or not? And also game mode graphics?
I leave it on but honestly on or off I don't see a performance difference or Latency difference
is it normal that when i'm ingame in mw3 and open amd overlay to test radeon image scaling from 0-100% it doesnt make any difference? i was using FX CAS but since u said RIS is better i wanted to see the difference but it doesn't do anything. and i get heavy stutters everytime i open amd overlay. do you know what could be the cause?
It's not normal, try these things out, make sure you are in standard mode and not in hdr, create a gaming profile for cod and make sure radeon image sharpening is on, don't use the overlay, go on windowed mode and then open radeon software and adjust slider to test it, make sure RIS is already on before you open the game and also make sure Cas is already off

this sounds promising. i will try that as soon as im at home. i have a 7800x3d and a tuf oc 7900xtx. a ddu reinstall could probably fix the sidebar + metrics overlay stutter but i dont know if its worth the time. i also want to redo my oc/uv. i run 2750memclock with 3090core clock and 1100v but after 2 hours of warzone on 1440p + ultra grafics it crashed. it's hard to find a free offline benchmark/game with no server/player influence which boosts core clock to max so u can tune mhz and see how the performance changes right in front of you xD@@Mateo_FPS

I’m running a 7800X3D and a 4080FE. I’ve followed your 7800X3D setup vid. Before doing so l was running MWIII at med to high settings with CPU usage of 1-3% and GPU usage of 95-98%. Post using your X3D settings the CPU is running at 40-45% and the GPU at 85-90-%. Should that be correct?
I’ve a 200hz monitor so when capping the FPS in game to 200fps the CPU is running at about the same and the GPU 75-80%, which is a what l would expect.
It’s the increase of CPU usage from 1-3% to the 40-45% % that l’m concerned about. Would you be able to advise if that is what is considered normal?
Can you tell me your benchmark numbers?

Using my system monitor software CPU was running approx 1 to 3% and GPU 99%

@garybaker746 something is off, because your cpu is suppose to be close to 500fps, most of these settings are to optimize your cpu, so you won't see any gains cause your gpu is bottleneck, do you monitor your fps in game using rivatuner/msi afterburner? That will show you better how your gpu and cpu are doing in game
@garybaker746 also are you playing warzone or multiplayer? For best performance you want your fps 1%lowes to be your monitor refresh rate
@@Mateo_FPShi… no, l don’t use MSI or Rivatuner, but can easily install and take a look. Working away for next 48hrs so it’ll be a couple of days before l can get back to you. I did think something was off due to my 3D Mark benchmarks but l’ve never been able to figure out what.
