So many Jedi can sense mass death and pain, and yet I don’t understand why they don’t confront each other about stuff like this. Yoda even senses Anakin murder all those sand people, women and children included and yet didn’t say shit as I recall. They are supposedly so elevated and enlightened and yet that’s some blue wall of silence bullshit. So many rules for getting in, but once you’re in you can do _almost_ anything? One would think the cold blooded murder of children would be a fireable offense. But I guess that’s also the rub, once the Jedi give them that knowledge, they almost can’t shun them, as that will likely just result in them turning to the Darkside and making the situation worse.
I have not seen The Acolyte, but from a distance I had mistook the lady in this skit for the actress who plays the cyborg or whatever she is with the blue or purple skin in the Guardians Of The Galaxy movies.
Gamora was the green one, but she had hair. Nebula was a blue cyborg and bald. So perhaps the images of both were combined when you saw this character?

Eh, I think the whip or “floppy” lightsaber might get a free pass from some because in the now non-canon Star Wars Legends, there was a prominent Sith who had a whip-like lightsaber. The green Jedi was written and performed so oddly that I thought she was going to be Palpatine-style hidden in plain sight villain… but it turns out she was just being obtuse because she was dumb? I guess she tried to kill her Padawan, but the context was never revealed, so she could have tried to kill him to stop a rampage. Logan Jedi would be better called “X-23 Jedi but she prefers Laura.” I was disappointed she barely had a role, but I suppose disappointment was the general mood of the season.
In Disney’s defense, how else were they gonna handle the lightsaber whip? I mean, it’s a lightsaber, it won’t just hover in the air through the Force or anything.
So at least TWO Jedi witnessed dark side users but still believe that the dark side has been gone for 1000 years in the prequels. I am sorry, but no amount of cope can possibly justify that. I can perfectly understand small mistakes to the lore. In fact, it is to be expected with this many cooks in the kitchen, but this one is quite drastic. At least IMO.
No, I wouldn’t consider that one as among the other flaws, at least in terms of plot holes. It’s established that the Jedi Order is extremely secretive and sectarian, with the Council often withholding information from the Senate and its own Knights and Padawan. Arguably, it still wouldn’t justify their secrecy, but even during the Clone Wars, most of the Council didn’t believe a Sith threat existed, with Count Dooku just considered a fallen Jedi, so they may have similarly believed the Stranger was a fallen Jedi, rather than Sith Lord. Has a plausible explanation, so not among the other bad decisions. Just a correction too, in that it was the Sith, not the dark side, that they thought was gone. It’d be a continuity error if dark side due the fact of the Dathomir Witches, and all of the criminals in the Galaxy who embody the dark side.
