Ganondagan's sixth juried Hodinöhsö:ni’ Art Show "Best in Show" interview with Kakwitène Jacobs

Ganondagan hosted its sixth juried Hodinöhsö:ni’ Art Show, exhibited at the Seneca Art & Culture Center - during our Indigenous Winter Arts Market on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023. We have a conversation with the "Best in Show" artist Kakwitène Jacobs (Kahnawake Mohawk, Bear Clan) as she discusses her work and inspiration.
On exhibit was the artwork of 49 Haudenosaunee artists in the six divisions of: Beadwork, Basketry, Traditional Arts, Fine Art 2D, Fine Art 3D, and Photography. This year 57 pieces of artwork were accepted showcasing the variety of talent amongst Haudenosaunee artists coming from across Turtle Island.
