  • April 30th 2022 the Iroquois White Corn Project hosted a SEED SORTING BEE. The objective is to sort and select heirloom White Corn seeds in preparation for processing and food grade selection. This is a community volunteering event. In this video we speak with Angel Jimerson (Heron Clan, Seneca Nation), Angel is the Production Manager for the Iroquois White Corn Project. Angel walks through a bit of the seed sorting process and a bit of the traditional ideals and practices while sorting seeds and the importance of protecting the see.
