- What’s up everybody. In todays video I will be attempting to make custom extension brackets to adjust the driver seat position in my 2020 Honda Talon 1000x4. As a tall driver, I am 6’3” and even though I do fit in tue Talon, gaining a little more legroom is definitely something that can be desired.
Overall this little modification has gained me 1.5” in seat height and roughly 1.5” of seat position length which has definitely helped my seating position by increasing overall legroom. If you are a taller driver and looking for added legroom in your Honda Talon, this video may be helpful to you.

Just want to say thanks, I'm 6'2", I followed your video, raised my seat up and back the same way, simple modification, but, made a world of difference!!!
I also did a custom floor modification too for new foot room. ruclips.net/video/vWfSILLZheo/видео.htmlfeature=shared
Bro really said “4/8” 😂
Did I really? My bad, mistakes happen.
That mod is fine for shorter drivers too. Im nothing over 5'7" so the visibility over the hood of most rigs, Talon, X3, RZR's etc just plain sucks for me. I can only really see tire placement well with a shotr hooded rig or a set of high cushions under me.
Exactly, this mod works for anyone. I’ve been riding my Talon a lot lately and my legs are more comfortable now.
Is that extra height going to cause the outer front corner of the seat to wear prematurely and split the seat cover?
Not that I see.
