I friggen LOVED that last duel, it doesn't matter if he had won or lost by laughing or if chatters WOULD have ended up permabanned if he had lost the duel- that right there? That was some GENUINE, TOP-QUALITY, DUELTAINING It put stakes on the line, it had high risk, and yet our protagonist won by the skin of their teeth on a heart-of-the-cards draw, and good play. It genuinely felt like a scripted duel you'd see in the anime, it was just THAT good- the only thing that'd need to change is he'd need to have at LEAST 2000 less LP at the end of the game. It was so incredibly done though. Hahah

For anyone curious, Oliver was just chillin there cuz my hand was weird and i couldn't figure out a way to get an extra level 3 on board to make herald after I discarded for pico to equip. I realized what i needed to do in post, but it's not like i had to worry about nib or anything lol
I may not be cheating in this one but I'm always happy to see all the hilarious setups everyone comes up with! I'm running on fumes in terms of cheating ideas, but at least I can do my best to help people come up with new ideas in places like the discord. Glad to see this series continuing strong!

Actually really incredible storytelling by GCD to pick a deck that perfectly demonstrates the rules of the shadow game on the first turn. Mans could write for the anime
considering how gcd didn't end on a wave high king caesar, with having contract with the gate in the opening hand, he probably drew thomas and couldn't scale it with gilgamesh
Instead of Isolde in the Inzektor game, you could theoretically use the Fiendsmith engine to make Beatrice in order to send the mop, finding Renaud with the normal Fire Warrior stuff
That D/D/D XYZ being able to respond to Trudea's Trap effect is specifically because it looks for Monster Cards (presumably to control Pendulum monsters/scales)
Cucumber Horse was deemed too powerful for our all-types Battle Pack 3 style cube and we had to ban it. Within a few drafts the meta immediately shifted to drafting GY hate being a top priority, so the cucumber drafter would then draft every way to recycle it from banished. Unironically the Nutbuster Dragon play was one of the most dominant options, but also just looping Stratos effects or things that could tribute the horse for value were all crazy powerful.
God I love how we're thinking about the Dino Rabbit format decks thanks to this and Wind-Up. Heck, even the Evolzars still see play in Dino decks thanks to all of their support, so it's almost like 2013 never left!
The Insektor combo was fucking sick, I loved every single move made by them It's like a more convoluted Mikanko Isolde setup with Ken/Gen, but it covers even more with the extra Utopia lmao
i think more people need to challenge mbt as a weekly shonen villain. I need weevel underwood to show up and normal summon baby insect ranting and raving about his unbeatable strategy.
Using mod powers to make a literal anime duel out of that last one was a brilliant idea. And D/D/D is a pretty scary deck if you're just on something okay.

(I know nobody has brought Smile Universe reverse burn FTK yet, but I reckon that I'm one of only a few that gets a kick out of that deck.)
I'd ask him to drop the Crimson Dragon package too, but that unironically seems to play worse than just running a bunch of Rank 8s and 12s, and the point is to give the opponents a chance.
