Hi community. I just wanted to share my experiences that i have had recently, and how this video saved me from an extremely dark place. Over the last three days I have had a depressive episode in which I was dealing with a lot of self-hate. This video helped pull me out and realize for the first time that I can really start to love myself. I just wanted to thank the creators of this video so much, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me take that first step towards healing.

Meditation also has benefits for your physical health, as it can improve your tolerance for pain and help fight substance addiction.👍
Everything seems so new. I’ve done it before, yet every experience is a new one, am I right? Going back to school has been surprisingly good for me. I’ve been involved and keeping up with classes. I’m everything I’ve wanted to be in a student who “does it all.” Yet, I couldn’t shake the feeling of wanting to break down crying since the first day of school. I could never pinpoint the reason why, and it seemed too complicated to figure out, so I buried it under a load of school work, house work, and extracurriculars. But today, I decided to listen to this guided meditation. I wanted to get up to move around and stretch with it, but I quickly knew and appreciated that this was something I was allowed to lay down for. This meditation helped me realize that in attempts to block out the uncomfortable feeling of discontentment and sorrow, I was only neglecting myself. I now understand why I want to cry. Because I am tired and I work so hard yet I feel like it goes unnoticed. But I’m learning that I’ll be more than satisfied if I just celebrate myself for my achievements. Big or small or whatever that means. Whenever I feel like I need some extra TLC, I’ll celebrate myself. A party 🎉 of one☝🏾 I like to say :) Also, I am tired. It’s nice to have things to do, but when they fall in to being a task, it’s not so fun anymore. I need to schedule in me time. Resting time. And I mean REAL resting time. Because it is well deserved and NEEDED. It’s not selfish. It’s self-love. It’s self-love and self-care. I love you Abibat. Thank you Sarah and the rest for a great, introspective video.
