The screen thing is a pretty terrible idea.... Like half the time it looks like the puck missed but the target breaks or the puck looks like it hit but the target stays up. That doesn't happen with a real target

This is a major yikes. Why is technology forced for things like this? It doesn't even make sense money wise. Spend all this money on a machine & repairs not to mention the crew to keep it in check.

Because this event is based on time now. I noticed a lot of the players were just taking as many shots a possible without necessarily aiming. Bring back the old way. 4 foam targets and they get 8 shots. To try and hit them all. Just because you have the technology, doesn't mean that you have to use it.
They definitely need to bring the foam ones back. Most of these guys hit the targets more than once before it registered it. At least with the foam you know you hit it

A 58 year old player (Mcguiness) slapshots 100.4 miles per hour. A 34 year old player (Weber) slapshots 106 miles per hour with a carbon stick. Why not have both of them use wooden and carbon sticks.
The digital target's don't work all that well. You only really need to hit a few pixels, even if it's the makeshift bar "holding" the target to make it break. Their inaccurate as hell for a accuracy contest.
These hockey players are too nice to the machine. I'd like to see some accurate slap shots! Imagine Weber, being pissed at the machine for not hitting, winding up and slap one home...
