- Jason Webley performs his final song "Last Song" before taking the audience on a walk. this video shows the band continuing to perform, while their Captain swam out to his ship and sailed off...
he performed this song with his band, the string section, the horn section and the audience. also featuring Amanda Palmer and Josh Petrojvic (of The Petrojvic Blasting Company). Jason put together this amazing show for 11/11/11 and to signify a well-deserved break from touring... but don't worry, he'll be back...

This is in my top three concerts to attend once I discover time travel.
I've watched this video so many times, I can't believe it still has so few views. In my darkest hours, this video makes me think better of the world. I am so grateful that it exists. Without it I might not.
bringing back the crowd participation vocals from the beginning of the show was such a genius move
Honestly, this is such a magical moment. I find myself coming back this video. Its insane how much positivity can come from a truthfully dark song. The crowd closing out the song with a epilogue from the band making his departure just gave this feeling of looking to the future in the darkest of times
thank you! I've seen Jason perform a few times, but that night... wow. I'm happy to be able to relive it and share it with everyone. thank you again for watching, and as always, thanks to Jason for allowing recording. :)
Did you go for the walk with him after the song? I would have killed to be there for this. This might be my favorite live recording of a song ever.
@@logansheffield8641 I think the entire venue followed him. Anyone who knew about his shows would have certainly planned on hanging out afterward.
He walked past the market, leading hundreds of people with no idea where we were going, until we came to the shore, where Jason just jumped in and started swimming. There was a boat anchored maybe a hundred yards out, and when he reached it, he climbed on and hoisted the sale, which had a huge "11" painted on it, then sailed away.
We were all left standing around, knowing it'd probably be a while before we'd see him again, if ever. he'd stopped doing death day shows years before, but this being autumn, it was certainly his last appearance for some time.
Eventually some cops approached the group and told us they'd been told about "gang activity," which was kind of funny, considering how many of us had pink hair and fairy wings, and a couple were even blowing bubbles the entire time. Part of me almost thinks it might have been Jason who'd called the cops, just to make sure we all knew the party was over.
This was the last show of his I've seen, and I really need to get back up to Seattle to catch him again sometime.
He took the balloons, he took the feather, he took the boat ... and the tomato? The tomato is always in our hearts :D
Thank you for recording this magnificent man in this beautiful moment in time.
Beautiful....I so wish I was there.
And on this day in history, Skyrim was released for the first (But certainly not last) time. Greeted by a fanfare of epic proportions by Jason Webley and crew.
Just wanted to say your comment was really funny, thanks for the laugh!
I love this song a lot. This was such a great concert. I worry about him, honestly, though. He seems sensitive, and it's a rough world.
I was actually close to tears watching this! Can't imagine what I'd been like had I actually been there!
That's awesome. I asked Google for some music and this was great at 630am. He's a character.
@AndroidFink aww, thank you for watching! I'm so glad I could film and share these videos. especially because this was such a magical show, I really wanted to be able to provide the video experience for everyone who couldn't make it (and for those who were there, to relive it).
Jason, we miss you in Moscow🥰
That was quite the walk.
always great/
Thank you, sincerely, thank you. I feel like my life is a bit better after watching this.
Oh how I wish I was there
This brings me to tears every time I watch this. Thank you

Neil Gaiman on stage at 9:37
Hey that's pretty good
What show was this??
Saw him at the Cotati accordion festival. Magnificent, before he developed his mannerisms.
Glad he didn't try to sound like tom waits that would have thrashed the poop out of his voice.
