We thought the same too. The a7 came out on top since its more practical. Also as we live in Finland theres a use for 4wd, and the 4wd in the A7 and A6 is different. The one in the a7 is the newer generation 4wd with torque vectoring. i tried it out and there is a difference, esp in ice, snowy winter conditions. Also looking from the side the A7 is simply more stunning than the A6...in every way.
@altern8ive I'm glad you're finding some of the earlier videos worth watching. Seems like years ago that we made this one! I've just invested a lot of money in new cameras and stuff so there might be some more improvements in the videos. By the way, there is no budget; it's just done out of love!

I thought when I first saw it that the A7's looks weren't beautiful but a bit oddball, while I liked the A6 right off. But some others including the guy who works with Emme Hall, I forget his name now, think that the A7's the most beautiful Audi.
@malonefan I don't have one...yet! I actually own a few cars but the main day to day car is a 06 Seat Leon petrol. It just works and it's never given a days trouble even when it's been sitting there for a month.

Nice vids brother, this is just the second vid of yours I've watched, the first being the one of the A6 TDi Quattro, which I watched just a few minutes ago. Cool. These two Audis are really two of the greatest cars in the world. I have a hard time deciding which of these two I'll get, the A7's sexy but the A6, being a diesel, is economical (the A6 is only a diesel here in Manila) while still a performance car. But I think in the end I can't resist the sleekness of the A7.
Mr.Smokerspack, I am planning to buy a 2012 BMW 640d Gran Coupe, I've seen your review on it and you seem to loveit, you also love this A7, I am stuck between which one although im leaning towards the 640d. Which one would you pick sir?

I asked Audi Ireland if there's an A8 that I could test, they are having a check and will come back to me. I will do my best to fulfill your request as I'm a fan of the A8 since the movie Ronan!
lots of people say that all the new audi's all look the same and as much as i can see their point of view, their idiots look at this and the new A6 and the new A4 and the new A5 and even the A1 they all look great and as for the A7 well that is surely on the short list for the best looking of all the german automotives. very good review i loved the music to the opening, and please please please review the audi A8 it looks like such a good car that needs an equally good reviewer
A nicely specified A6 is a nicer looking car than the A7, I still think the A7 is beautiful but the A6 is more in every way and if you can get it in diesel you'll be well sorted.
No way I am getting the 6 series ....looks is not as good imo..and the interior...Audi still the best ....overall Audi has the better package ... its not all about drive all the time

i drove an a7 and I can tell you, the guy isn't talking shit, the car's damn perfect, it does get 6l/100km, it can go even lower, and that's insane, the acceleration is INSANE, and that's on the 3.0tdi 245hp one, the bitdi 313hp is mental, it's really comfortable, it's got everything you would need in a big car, but it looks mean as hell i'd recommend it to anyone, and it beats it's bmw and mercedes rivals from a large distance :)

Easy, 640d Gran Coupe it's the best car I've ever driven. Don't forget this video was made long before the GC came out.
