    I have a math quiz tomorrow and I was so stressed because our teacher goes through topics really really fast. I didn't get it at all and all the videos I found were so confusing but this one. Thank you so so so much, I'm starting to understand it a lot better. You explain it better than my math teacher. I just have to practice it now.

    Thank your for the examles and explanations, it was a perfect exposure to something I hadn't seen before, the real ahhha, is how you took on the Pi and also, reversed the parenthesis, we usually work through them but never consider going in reverse. Thanks again.

    Thank you so much for this and for problem 5, couldn't you simplify the 2z and 2?

      Great question! If we leave it all as one fraction y=(x+2z)/2, you cannot cancel the 2 because the “x” doesn’t have a 2 in front of it. However if you split up the fraction, you can simplify and write the same equation as y=(x/2)+z

      Omg! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MIDTERM TOMORROW! You got this!! If it helps, to undo a fraction, just multiply both sides by the bottom number (sorry if that confuses you more. Ignore it if it does lol)

    So would there ever be a situation/math problem where theres two of the same variable? If that’s a yes then would you combine them as “2x” or combine them but without inputting a number?

      Yep! If there’s two of the same variable, I would combine them first. For example: 5x - 2x = y + z can be combine into 3x = y + z. Then you can solve for whatever variable you want

      Do you mean if there’s just a whole number outside the parenthesis? Then you can just divide both sides by that whole number!
